Woz01
Fixture clash is a bit different to an injured rider! Lindgren probably better at Coventry than Holder? We was missing KK at Swindon due to a Polish fixture

Woz01
Lindgren paid max last time at Brandon!!! In a 2nd string role not number one but he's certainly better than last season so far. Probably a fair enough guest for Holder, doesn't make Poole stronger or weaker. Holder and Lindgren have had good and bad meetings at Brandon. Edited April 19, 2016 by woz01
heathen chemistry
Why should Horton change the date? Its not his fault an opposition rider is missing and I don't think I've ever seen you bleating about this when the opposition come to Poole with a rider missing. Sounds like Bees are happy enough that Poole should get a facility announcing Lindgren as guest early. how many times have visiting teams been missing riders....loads n loads not once has ford cancelled a match but the other way round.....maybe he wants sympathy now he's missing a rider
Woz01
So Horton, has potentially made Poole stronger? What an idiot! No he hasn't. He's running a meeting that was arranged on the date. At least there are still some that don't cancel meetings at a drop of a hat.And..Didnt see us crying to get the fixture postponed, we got on with it. It is what it is, the meeting was agreed on this date move on. Why it was agreed on this date with Holder missing is another matter. how many times have visiting teams been missing riders....loads n loads not once has ford cancelled a match but the other way round.....maybe he wants sympathy now he's missing a rider Now they have a decent guest, Holder is probably delighted to be missing Coventry anyway. Woz01
Can't really blame him, can you.. No. He's always been hit and miss around Brandon but the injuries he suffered there you'd understand him not being a fan of the place.

Woz01
I meant that bit that said you were missing a rider tomorrow. To be fair if we are going to postpone meetings for riders missing we'd never get the season finished. Better fixture planning needed! SteveLyric2
You've got the new U21 champ as one reserve with the 'electric starting machine' as the other plus the bloke thats got loads more ambition than one of Poole's current reserves - and still you think the Bees might lose?! I really don't understand it!!!!!?????? ;-) ;-)

markyb
Yet another almost national league line-up at "elite" (sic) prices. Have checked tv and radio times and a full line-up of stars on Friday for Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Eastenders -week in and week out. On paper, a Coventry vs Poole fixture, and in a competition which provides some meaning, should be a great spectacle and give a healthy crowd. Alas, unfortunately once again, fear it won't. My reference to Emm, Coro & East was tongue in cheek - but until "taking of the urine" stops, think I would rather spend time and effort not watching speedway at my expense, time and the main reason, at the profit of a dumb promoter. Is it any wonder why SKY are struggling to find any meetings worthwhile to present on TV? Shame !
