Coventry V Poole El Friday 22nd April 2016

Recommended Posts

You've got the new U21 champ as one reserve with the 'electric starting machine' as the other plus the bloke thats got loads more ambition than one of Poole's current reserves - and still you think the Bees might lose?!

I really don't understand it!!!!!?????? ;-) ;-)

More bait required

With riders missing again it's about time we went to fixed night racing like Poland.

Bad idea, usually proposed by people that don't regularly attend. It's been proven time and time again that Coventry isn't well attended outside the established Friday and Saturday race night.

Torun encroach on Coventry's established race night and still take preference. Unbelievable.

Poland don't really have a fixed race day now. They have meetings Friday, Saturday, Sunday and the occasional Monday this season. Even Denmark run on more than one day.

COVENTRY will be holding a collection for injured Polish youngster Kacper Woryna at Fridays home Elite League match against Poole.

Woryna has been told he faces up to two months on the sidelines after his horrific crash at Kings Lynn last week which left him with severe hand lacerations.

He is now out of hospital after a series of operations over the weekend and will be returning to Poland later in the week.

But a series of text messages between the 19-year-old and the Buildbase Bees promotion has underlined exactly why he had already become such a popular figure at the club.

He wrote: Could be better, really sore at the moment but things are moving forward. I fly back on Thursday morning from Luton.

They said take out the stitches in two weeks and it might take a month to make a proper fist with this hand, so Im out for 6-8 weeks unfortunately. Im really sorry mate.

I love you too here, best place to be and race! I wish Ill be that good to stay here my whole career.

I love it so much I wish I dont have to fly back to Poland, but I have to.

Coventry promoter Mick Horton said: Its been a delight to work with Kacper so far, and its so nice to see riders who have this sort of attitude and who really love the club they ride for.

We want to do something to help Kacper whilst he is unable to race, and I would urge all Coventry fans to come along and support the collection for him on Friday.

more bspa rules ruining speedway and therefore ruining promoters businesses, having to go with r/r for an injured rider, thereby a 6 man team !a real good way to keep the fans happy, why are coventry not allowed a pl guest , who voted in these rules , we will never know which of the 8 promoters voted that way cuz its a closed shop totally not transparent....but talk about shooting itself in the foot again,

its as if there deliberately tryin to kill speedway off...
