King's Lynn V Leicester 21/04/16 7.45pm

Just a thought looking at the Leicester line-up.Say Klindt was to get injured while being at reserve, who would be able to replace him?As he is now the lowest reserve would it be someone form the 2nd tier with an average lower than himself.

Or has the BSPA not thought of this scenario and will now have to come up with another rule.I think possibly the latter.

The facility for an absent No 6 (by riding number) is a guest if not an EDR, and an EDR guest if an EDR

But Klindt is not an EDR rider, is he? That would mean we had 3 EDR'S Wouldn't it.....

Otherwise, if Ulamek then dropped to reserve and got injured, we'd them have to have another EDR, so we'd end up with 4 Elite Draft Reserves....!!!

Surely, that cannot happen, even the 3 EDR'S!!! wouldn't be allowed to happen..

a very good point - it's one problem the Stars won't have as can't see either of our EDR getting into the top 5 .

You've misunderstood what Mr Watson had said.

If a none EDR is at reserve it's ANY guest up to that rider's average.

If an EDR is in the 1-5 only an EDR can replace him as guest.

You'll only ever have 2 EDR's in 1 team

Don't be so condescending!!

We beat you last season, I agree, it was a bit of a fluke, but we beat you, never the less....

I think it will be tighter than you think.. a 10 point loss to the Lions, whilst using the t/r kept it to only the 10pts..

Or..

Lynn will have a shocker, and we have a great night and win by 4 pts (44-48) Inc t/r.

Certainly not being condescending, just adding to the usual dross I post on here with some ironic comments.

I am a lions fan, a repeat of last years Doyleless surprise victory would be most welcome, if unlikely.

I'd settle for a battling performance if nowt else

If Klint was injured and say out for the season, while at Reserve what category of rider would Leicester be permitted to sign to replace him ?

One that fit average wise. If the replacement rider had a higher average then the 2 lowest average riders would slot in at reserve.

This could well be a close one . Kings Lynn are not that great and a piss poor Coventry side were close to beating them , Leicester will be beeter without ulamek so they have a fair chance I think

Looks like Klindt was told he was scoring too well so he had to back off to keep his average down

Not quite what happened I don't think lol

Hard fought win for the Stars but they did it, some good races to boot, soooo hard to work a pass at Lynn but hell it's great watching them try and succeed at times

Onto Leicester which has been a pretty happy hunting ground for us lately (wish we had some of their track material at Lynn), C'MON team

Leicester did very well and were unlucky, Klindt was excellent until he blew his engine while leading in his 4th ride. Shame his 2nd bike wasn't as fast. Summers improved as the meeting went on and had the ride of the night to beat Lambert. Good to see Freddie looking fast again. For KL Lambert was the star man with credit to Carl and Lewis at reserve, thought they were solid when they needed to be.

Yes Lynn were fortunate that Klindt's bike gave up When it did - he could've easIly gated to a 21pt max on that!

Luckily they picked Lindgren as a guest though as they didn't have a lot else - but then Lynn were pretty inconsistent too tbh

Poole wll marmalise us next week on this showing!! :nono:
