kelvinht
Don't understand why stars don't bring busk in and use huckenbeck as no. 8 in to replace Rory. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?
Happy Hunter
Why is it that Lion's fans have to hear about who is riding for the Lions on here instead of the Lion's website! I have had an email from the Lions this afternoon telling me about reduced admission fees for children & students at Beaumont Park but no mention of the team for Thursday! You've made my day.Had to take a look at the Lions website for admission fees after seeing your quote and was pleasantly surprised to see I can take me my missus, daughter aged 17 and her boyfriend 16 all for £38.That would cost £62 at Lynn. Will be coming Saturday weather permitting

I have had an email from the Lions this afternoon telling me about reduced admission fees for children & students at Beaumont Park but no mention of the team for Thursday!Same here I found out what the Lynn team was for Thursday on here after going on our web site where there was absolutely nothing about Thursday's meeting Klindt stays in top 5, Starke at reserve.... Interesting! thought I read something many months ago now that it would be up to the rider and club wether they moved up into the main body of the team or not. No doubt somebody will put me right on this.

Busk has been scoring well so would have been a easier EL start for him, and a good chance for us to see him in action
Daniel Smith
Leicester line-up amended ________________________________________________ The Latest News from the Lions Stars v Lions Match Preview Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 | Fixtures, News Leicester face the King’s Lynn Stars in Norfolk on Thursday without their two Polish riders Sebastian Ulamek and Szymon Wozniak who are riding in a Quarter Final of their country’s National Individual Championship that day. Team Manager Norrie Allan has elected to cover for their absences with a guest rider for Ulamek and he plans to share out Wozniak’s races between other members of the team. “Sebastian Ulamek’s current average of 6.60 has given me great scope for choice of guests and Freddie Lindgren was my first choice to replace Sebastian at King’s Lynn and as the rules stand I went with Rider Replacement for Szymon.” The fixture sees the new averages come into effect and as a result it means the first positional changes of the season for the Paul Chapman and Sons Lions. Paul Starke, who has been one of Leicester’s successes since joining the club from Poole, moves into the main body of the team to partner Patrick Hougaard with Nicolai Klindt taking his place at reserve. “Nicolai was half expecting this to happen as there was no way that his average would increase in the first month to beyond one of the reserves whose starting figures were higher. How the positional changes will alter the chemistry of the team is unknown but we will get a good idea of that at King’s Lynn and in the return fixture against the Stars at Leicester on Saturday. Hopefully, Paul can keep his scoring rate going in the more demanding role at number two and Nicolai can be our new ‘Ace in the Pack’ at reserve with Josh Auty” added Allan. The Stars are without their captain Rory Schlein who sustained a shoulder injury whilst riding against Coventry last week and the former Leicester rider Sam Masters will be a guest replacement. Teams King’s Lynn: 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen, 2. Mads Korneliussen, 3. Robert Lambert, 4. Kai Huckenbeck, 5. Sam Masters, 6. Carl Wilkinson and 7. Lewis Rose Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Paul Starke, 3. Aaron Summers, 4. Rider Replacement for Szymon Wozniak, 5. Freddie Lindgren, 6. Nicolai Klindt and 7. Stars fans should be quaking in their boots though... Don't be so condescending!! We beat you last season, I agree, it was a bit of a fluke, but we beat you, never the less.... I think it will be tighter than you think.. a 10 point loss to the Lions, whilst using the t/r kept it to only the 10pts.. Or.. Lynn will have a shocker, and we have a great night and win by 4 pts (44-48) Inc t/r.
Daniel Smith
From http://www.kingslynnstars.co KING’S LYNN will look for their second successive victory as they welcome Leicester to the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday (7.30).The Roger Warnes Transport Stars battled to a hard-fought 46-44 win over Coventry last week and will now look to claim three more Elite League points against the Lions.Leicester arrive in Norfolk having endured a tough start to the season, but they will no doubt be buoyed by their first win of 2016 against Swindon last time out.The Stars have drafted in flying Wolves racer Sam Masters as a guest for his injured Australian compatriot Rory Schlein. They will otherwise be at full strength – and experienced ace Mads Korneliussen is keen to see them build on their “solid start to the season” to come away with another win.Korneliussen said: “Apart from that defeat against Belle Vue where nothing went our way it’s been a solid start to the season for us.“It was a good win against Coventry last week. Losing Rory (Schlein) was obviously a big shame, but we are looking to get another win against Leicester.“We’ve got high hopes for this team, so hopefully we will keep on developing as the season goes on and make it to the play-offs.”Leicester have also turned to Wolverhampton for a guest with Swedish star Freddie Lindgren stepping in at No.5 in place of Sebastian Ulamek. They also operate rider replacement to cover the absence of Szymon Wozniak, with Paul Starke moving into the main body of the team and skipper Nicolai Klindt dropping to reserve.KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Mads Korneliussen, Robert Lambert, Kai Huckenbeck, Sam Masters, Carl Wilkinson, Lewis Rose.LEICESTER: Patrick Hougaard, Paul Starke, Aaron Summers, Szymon Wozniak R/R, Freddie Lindgren, Nicolai Klindt, Josh Auty.
