Ommer Mon
Predictions please! I think the Heathens are going to struggle to get anything out of this one. I'm very impressed with the way the Brummies have built their team and I expect them to be very near the top when the trophies get dished out. 52-38 with the Brummies reserves and middle order making the difference. Hope I'm wrong!! We'll be there.
Reviresco
As you say, Ommer Mon, the Brummies reserves should prove far too strong for their counterparts. JPB is obviously some prospect at his tender age and was brilliant in the U21 Final and at Buxton yesterday. I saw some of Bradley Andrews races in New Zealand, and he does seem to have a problem just staying on the bike. Morris and Clegg will be a match for anyone and Chessell could outscore Ritchings, so the Heathens HL's may have the edge. Danyon Hume didn't have a great meeting at Hi-Edge but will feel more comfortable back home and looks to have really kicked on this season, aided by the backing of Danny King Racing. Think your 52 - 38 is a good shout, but it should be a terrific NL encounter. Safe racing to all.

mrscambelt
I think Birmingham are the team to beat at the moment, Cradley will really have to have lady luck racing at number 8 for them if they are going to take a point from this one.

Ommer Mon
I'm taking good contributions from Cleggy, Ash and Luke as read as they have been brilliant so far. I think the key man for Cradley will be Jack Kingston. I've been very impressed with him in past seasons but he's not had the best of starts to this one so far and had to miss our last match. Hope he can turn things around and give the Brummies a run for their money. Can't expect too much from James, Bradley and Ben in view of how their opposite numbers have been performing but you never know. I'm already impressed with Ben. Lovely sunny day in Brum today. Let's hope that continues tomorrow.

Ommer Mon
I've heard that there was a problem with parking at the One Stop Shopping Centre when Birmingham rode against Stoke a few weeks ago. Some fines were dished out. Has that been resolved now? What is the curfew time at the Shopping Centre?

solrac
Comfortable win for Birmingham i'd say, favourites for the title at this very early stage as their team looks stronger than all the others. Birmingham by 12+
Reviresco
http://www.birminghambrummies.co/news.php?extend.2252 Well done Birmingham Speedway and the Shopping Centre. A number of other clubs could learn from the support shown to the fans with this situation and for the great PR on their web-site - no names mentioned, not even a club in Manchester...
Hunty
Here's for an Away point! I can see why both sides wanted this fixture early though! We're trying to catch them with less track time and they are trying to catch us with rusty reserves!
