TonyE
First home meeting for Wolves coming off two away wins. Hopefully the Hammers will give them a sterner test.
stevebrum
The hammers look inspired with Tatum on board. They are dangerous right now. 50-42.

Little Nicki
Presume Kennett in for Lawson for Lakeside. Could be very close. AJ may go unbeaten. Sam Masters and the home Reserves may just swing it in Wolves favour. Will the Revolution Jawas suit Monmore? May be a draw?

Little Nicki
That's a lot of may. Rather say 'may' than lie about something I can't prove. Unlike some posters. 2,600+ posts - was any of them worthwhile or add anything to the rich pageantry of speedway life? Door opening implement.

Either way I couldn't care less what you think.

fish keeper
I'm going for a home win with Lakeside keeping it tight and may take a point.

Wasn't the one I was thinking of, but 'Game On' may well have been one of Hinge and Bracket?

sommelier
Looking forward to this one, weather NOT looking good for start time. Hope I don't get there from Bristol again & turn round like I did the Swindon meeting!!!
The Voice Of Reason
Looking forward to this one. Monmore is my favourite track - best in the league in my opinion; and undoubtedly the best grub. I'll get lost as usual but hopefully have enough time to get there from work. Generally a good presentation as well. Just hoping that as it's Wolves first home meeting, they'll feel a bit of pressure to perform; after a couple of excellent away wins. Pivotal will be the performance of Rob Mear. He looks so off the pace since his comeback that it's embarrassing. Given the two reserve race format, we really need him to deliver tomorrow night - it's extremely difficult to win away from home with a 6 man team. Shame that Richard Lawson is out with flu as he looked pretty majestic at Beaumont Park the other week. But this gives Ed Kennett a chance to shine. He's certainly been pretty impressive in the PL to date (and let's be honest, the Elite League is only a ramped-up version of the PL anyway these days). Not going to make any predictions - particularly not after the other year when we held a 10 or 12 point lead and still managed to bollox it up in the final three heats!

superguest
Well this should be a really good contest with both teams riding well unexpectedly. Kim Nilson, Kennett and Piotr Swiderski are no slouches around Monmore, Lewis Bridger and AJ - well, they can do just about anything! Seems Rob Mear is struggling, although Lewis Kerr has probably ridden more laps around Monmore than Kyle Howarth - so we should be pretty even at the reserve position. Gonna predict Sam Masters to top score judging by current form. 48-42 ish kinda score. Although who knows eh? Hope the weather behaves!!!
E I Addio
It seems Wolves is a track riders have to learn to get their heads round to consistently do well but I can't think of any Hammers apart from AJ who you coukd say is going to be a serious threat at MG before the tapes go up. Some have good nights sometimes if the track is to their liking but you can't guarantee it. Bridger is still getting the tTeam Revolution Jawas sorted out so is a bit of an unknown quantity. History says that the Hammers will probably lose by more than 10 , but if they keep it closer than that I will be well pleased. Chances of getting a point are remote though IMO. Wolves strength this year is that they seem to have a strength in depth side where everyone can chip in with a reasonable score.

Clive Ward
Lakeside have won only 2 races out of the first 11heats and thanks to the tactical ride are only 8pts behind and still in the meeting another idiotic rule that plaques speedway
