robert72
It's an apostrophe, not a hyphen, and there is one in Sainsbury's. http://www.sainsburys.co.uk I don't know what Rory's problem with the NHS is, but is it possible that, being Australian, they want him to pay for treatment? I know they are toughening up on overseas people not paying to use it. Does he not hold a British passport ?

Steve Shovlar
There are certain riders who have injuries follow them around. Schlein, Roynon, Ollie Allen are just three names off the top of my head. Other riders go through their whole careers without virtually a scratch. Adams, Hans Nielsen. There more to it than luck. Yes, the risks are far less when out in front but making the right decision when in the pack could well be why some get injured more than others. Its still down to ability and yes making the right decisions when in the pack. One of if not the best racer we have ever seen in Mark Loram rarely if ever was involved in accidents or took anyone off by charging through at the wrong time. No one better than Mark in getting their wheels in line. Then you look at Darcy, young and talented but often put himself in the wrong place and had many falls. Sadly we will never get to see if he could have changed
Lord Skid
If the NHS isn't good enough, they should join BUPA, or hop on a plane and get treatment in their own Country, which obviously have far better healthcare.

abbo
Hope Rory makes a speedy recoveryWhat utter rubbish appears on this forum. Rory Schlein has another serious injury and the forum resorts to spelling and grammar lessons. Why not stick to speedway? Just read two pages utter rubbish. It's a speedway site! What was wrong with the post you'd quoted. Bit harsh to have a dig at Steve But in general you're quite right. Schlein is set to be sidelined for a few weeks and people moan about where he wasn't his treatment to take place. Frankley, that's none of anyone's business except his

Sadly we will never get to see if he could have changed Mark was certainly one of the most skillful riders I've seen. The only time I can recall him getting it wrong was when he knocked off Tony Rickardsson in the Swedish gp in 2000. He was lucky not to be excluded. I always thought Darcy also had great bike control, and was one of the last great team riders. If anything I thought Chris Holder was less in control when they rode together. Odds On
if Mr Schlein isn't impressed with our NHS then don't use it, quite simple really but don't moan about it.

Sir Jasper
As long as Rory pays his taxes and previous injuries were covered under the reciprocal agreement between Oz and the UK, then he can quite rightly complain about his care levels. I dare say his complaint was not directed at the nurses and Dr's who treated him but more at the facilities, and the stressful conditions they have to work in. I have to ask if this thread would have been started had it been an "english" rider who complained. However all the best to Rory, he has quite an "impressive" list of injuries, broken back on a couple of occassions, broken legs, pretty sure there was a wrist break or bones in the hand which required him to mod his throttle so he could twist it...
