george.m
Ding dong The Fish is back....... So you heard Kevin Doolan in the pits after heat 15.
Fromafar
Ryan Fisher is an absolute tool for doing that to someone who he has rode against for over 10 years now, Doolan gave Wolbert enough room on the second bend in heat 12 but on heat 15 with Pijper leading and masters at the back fisher completely put doolan into the fence leaving him no room at all, Edinburgh deserved to win but not in those circumstances, what a disgrace to speedway you are Fisher and a special mention to Michael Breckon for managing to get the easiest of decisions wrong, well done you Geordie nugget, surely he would of had to exclude someone when it's coming out of the second bend? bottled it and went for the easy all 4 back, well done to Edinburgh on the win and nice to see so many Edinburgh fans there! real shame about the weatherIm afraid Kevin should have seen that comingFisher has never given anyone racing room in the last 10 years.Edinburgh were deserved winners ,only Kevin and Theo got pass from me although TJ looked to have bike problems.Track was only one line due to the rain shower gating was even more important than normal.

Mr Blobby
well that was unexpected to say the least. But we will take it. Sam was as expected Riss after his first 2 was very fast Kevin apart from one heat was great. His ride against doolan round the boards on bends 1/2 was differnt class. Jye struggled a bit but got going in his last with a good gate just got a bit out of shape which cost him the 2nd place but still got his first point as a monarch. That was the fish we all know and love brilliant paid max and thoroughly deserved. Mon the Fish. Clegg the only disappointment on what was a good night, he really needs to kick on at away tracks that is where we need him most not so much at home. Wee Dan with his first points as monarch and a great ride it was, then had a couple of falls from trying to hard but at least he's trying and improving with every ride. screm
In the opening post on this thread there is what was called fighting talk from the bald one, looks like his team backed up those his words, Edinburgh came for revenge after Berwick won at Armadale the other night and got it so congratulations to them for their win. Berwick`s lack of race winners was their un-doing, and a No1 with two retirements with bike trouble. Hopefully this will a minor blip in what has so far been a decent start to the season. Bandit59
Well done Edinburgh you wanted it more than Berwick and you got it, personally I left with the wife and a few other people after heat 10 one word describes the meeting GARBAGE .. what a complete waste of money.. Completely right well done Edinburgh Alden never interested long drawn out meeting knew there would be some delays for r/r What was Razor trying to do AFTER the interval at the tapes whatever it was it did not work, out of curiosity what time did the meeting end as i left before heat 13 at 8 40 to get home to go and get drunk after that performance
screm
I think we need to put this down to a bad day, it shouldn't detract from the forward steps taking both on track and off track, look on it in a positive way, maybe nights and results like yesterday highlighted areas where improvements can still be made.

DSC67
After the late downpour any chance of a decent meeting went out the window . It looked pretty obvious after his first outing that " Super " Seb was none keen on the conditions that added to TJ's gremlins and Berwick's inability to make a decent gate in the early heats meant it was always going to be a struggle one Edinburgh got any sort of lead . From where I was I though Ryan's actions in heat 15 where extremely naughty and can't really understand why the ref kept him in the re-run , fair play to Edinburgh though the came , saw and conquered . It looks the league cup has passed us by again for another season , hopefully the guys will put in a decent performance today and we can back on the winning track next Saturday when with some luck the weather will behave and it will be dry and a lot warmer

topsoil
finished at about 9.23?! rediculous, had no toes left Needed to do a lot of track grading last night, due to the downpours just before the start, two lengthy hold-ups due to injuries, another hold-up after the first running of heat 15, not much anybody could do about it. Cj69
Close scores kept it entertaining depsite lack of passing. Rain right before start ruined what might have been a decent track. Few incidents dragged the meeting out but a happy ending had by some. Berwick looked very weak with only Doolan and Pijper looking threatening. Monarchs top 4 very dominant and great to see Dan and Jye get amung they points they were both chuffed in the pits afterwards. Max continuing last season with struggling on away tracks he should really be competing against other reserves just doesnt seem to get set ups right. Berwick didnt dispoint with their pies and burgers (had to sample both of course) will be back for more in the summer as it was bloody cold one. Onto the League next week where the real prize is
