To The Point
A bit more than a "sickie" then ..... best wishes to Anders Hes been limping since he came off at Lawsons, before the season started, a month of rest and Physio and we will see the Anders of last year. Â Weather really nice here, but bl**dy cold, anyone travelling wrap up warm.
bigeddiechek
Good to see Anders making sure he is fully fit rather than riding through the pain barrier.Look forward to having him back after his recovery.
Shadders
Handy, very handy. At least it's a bona fide injury and not the result of a dodgy burger

Mr Blobby
Berwick win by about 10-12 points. Should be able to match them in the top 5 but the bandits lower order we'll see them comfortably over the line.
TheScotsman
Yep i reckon bandits by 10.

fairplay1
Well done Edinburgh you wanted it more than Berwick and you got it, personally I left with the wife and a few other people after heat 10 one word describes the meeting GARBAGE .. what a complete waste of money..
TheScotsman
It looks like.... Â Ding dong The Fish is back....... Â Pity it wasn't the full 4 points but it's certainly 3 more than I expected.
DavyH
Seems that reports of the death of the Monarchs was premature - great result in what seemed to be very difficult conditions with Ryan, Sam Kevin and Erik the top men. Good to see Dan getting his first points as a Monarch - although our reserves were outscored, their points made the difference in the end. Â It would be nice though if we could get some speedway in dry warm conditions soon, like next Friday please.

Didn't see that coming but fair play you done what you had to do probably helps our cause more, a win tomorrow by 7 points or more means we can qualify with either a point at Berwick or Armadale

allthegearbutnaeidea
Ryan Fisher is an absolute tool for doing that to someone who he has rode against for over 10 years now, Doolan gave Wolbert enough room on the second bend in heat 12 but on heat 15 with Pijper leading and masters at the back fisher completely put doolan into the fence leaving him no room at all, Edinburgh deserved to win but not in those circumstances, what a disgrace to speedway you are Fisher and a special mention to Michael Breckon for managing to get the easiest of decisions wrong, well done you Geordie nugget, surely he would of had to exclude someone when it's coming out of the second bend? bottled it and went for the easy all 4 back, well done to Edinburgh on the win and nice to see so many Edinburgh fans there! real shame about the weather
topsoil
Could see this result coming, you won't win a meeting without heat winners and Berwick just don't have the top end fire power right now. Outgated in almost every race tonight and in conditions like that gating is all important. For me Wolbert and Riss were the match winners. You kind of knew beforehand that Edinburgh had the advantage with Masters and Fisher and Berwick would be stronger at reserve. That played out as expected. Really hope the gating gloves are on for tomorrow and next Saturday, or it could be a couple of long meetings.
george.m
So a nice wee win out of the blue for the Monarchs. Now. Where did I previously read that four men doing the majority of scoring didn't win away matches? Hmm! Glasgow team building maybe?
