Couldn't see the updated thread for this meeting....

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message which includes your mobile number.

Many thanks

Following a not very good performance last night, although a couple of the riders were rusty and the track was crap, the robins need to show tonight what they can do. If they continue to be slow out of the gate Wolves may win, but I am hoping we get a win but would not be surprised if Wolves got within 6 points.

If they are slow out of the gate at least the riders can overtake on our track, something that was very difficult to do last night on that micky mouse one.

Looking at the line ups of both teams, a narrow away win for Wolves would be my prediction.

However as last night showed, speedway is very unpredictable. Howarth could be a key rider if he has a good night at his old track.

Prediction 44-46

Just seen the line up and Charles Wright is riding despite dislocating his shoulder last night, putting it back and riding. Good on him and it is a good job this is not football other wise he would have needed 6 months off.

If he was getting paid I guess he would of just like anyone in any job hardly makes him a hero ..most speedway riders these days would not even go on a track after drop of rain ...it quite odd that for some reason people compare speedway riders to football players .

Good to see Rohan Tungate get a couple of wins last night to boost his confidence, before the 'Auty effect' seemed to kick in and he had his crash. At least it sounds as if machinery rather than man suffered the consequences. He may have got Heat 15 too if it hadn't of been for the equipment damage. The Leicester track may suit his riding style well, so it will be interesting to see how he goes at Blunsdon tonight.

Can see tonight being a close encounter but one in which the Robins need and should be coming away with 3 points in the bag...but can see Wolves sneaking a point. Better from Rohan last night, Sedgie showed some fight at the end....so if Josh & Nick can continue their Abbey showings from a couple of weeks ago then should be all good. 48-42

Wolves to win and take 4 points home with them. Swindon only have 1 EL rider, the rest are PL or NL

Bit harsh to consider Morris PL only? averages over 7 in the EL and similar could be said about Josh apart from last nights bike issues he scored 21 in first two meetings for Swindon this season...hardly merely PL

Contrary to popular belief some of us on here do actually go!...not shedloads mind

Need to get some of the huge crowd that were at The Farewell to go, there is a lot of interest in the town for the sport(most read topic on Adver website at times!), its just getting them up to The Hill on a chilly Thursday night that's the problem, unless Poole are in town or its a Grand Final. A few still refuse to attend until the new Rosco Arena is up and running. It does make you wonder about the future of the sport with a massive catchment area of probably 3 million that they can only attract just over 1000 peeps.

Orlovski should takeover as the new PR man.

GO ROOBINS!!!
