Conkers
World Ice Speedway Champion Dmitri Khomitsevich has been involved in a serious Motocross crash in the Krasnodar Region. He had been training with the TSTVS Kamensk-Ural club, when he had his accident. According to Witnesses, he landed badly after taking one of the jumps on the track. He was taken to Hospital in Krasnodar, suffering head injuries and a suspected broken pelvis. He has spent some time in Intensive Care but I understand he is now on a general ward, where it is reported he is out of danger. Information is somewhat sketchy at the moment as the information is on a Kamensk Ural website, although they do say he is expected to recover in time for the new Ice Speedway Season in December.
