Baldyman
Lewis and James were a lot better tonight. Not sure about the track yet. When you run an entertainment and you have one of the top entertainer then I think he needs a better stage than what's currently on offer. Toft and grondal were very poor for the panthers, but definitely have a trump card with perry.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Perry should be the top no7 by a mile - he has averaged nearly 4.5 in the PL before after all.....
Panthers89
Definitely a trump card and riding very well. Making up for the rest at the moment sadly. Will be going out of the reserve spot soon and MPT dropping to reserve at this rate.
Baldyman
I thought he had to stay at reserve all season?
Shadders
Agreed same with Grondal. Â Palm toft and Lambert in the danger zone for the chop. I'd say more Lambert as Palm toft could improve I think Lambert has hit his limit. MPT goes very well around Rye House. Could kick start his season. Lukas
Don't matter..looks like we out the cup now..we needed to win tonight.
peterborough daz
Lambert will be dropping to reserve first new averages by the looks of things. Â Grondal and MPT also need to pull their fingers out
scoobydoo
Grondal has to be the one under most pressure three very poor meetings in a row and hes not beating anyone decent, MPT not much better hes going backwards from last year . Â Problem is Palm Toft's gating is like Corporal Jones on parade:half a step behind everyone else. Edited April 15, 2016 by Crump99

Baldyman
Get ready for a beating Ipswich. You're going to get battered. You are quiet today
Crump99
You are quiet today  As someone once said "‘Just rejoice at that news" just need to be in the top 6 come September!!  So you think the 6th place finisher is going to do what? New era Panthers
A bit early to talk about sacking people to be fair.. No need at all but M.Palm-Toft, S,Lambert, and E .Grondal need to sort themselves and machinery out very quick at Ipswitch they were very poor offering very little support , another 4 points between these 3 would have won the match for us . If they don't improve at Rye House on Saturday then questions need to be asked , T.Perry is doing an excellent job and the 3 heat leaders are playing there part but we cannot afford to be carrying 3 riders, M.Palm toft has had some very good meetings at Rye House and E. Grondal had a good league meeting there last season but I don't think this is one of S, Lambert's favourite tracks so he might struggle a bit, we can afford to carry one rider here but not all 3 of them
Super Blue
Unfortunately as much as it pains me to say it we are carrying 2 riders which means that the top 5 have to do all the scoring. Â We ain't gonna win too many if it continues, especially away.
Baldyman
We all have to have a 3 pointer superblue and are there any others? Personally I think Ritchings will get better and if you see the amount of effort he is putting in its brilliant. And he isn't off the pace either. A few good decisions on the first turns will see him score more points.
bigcatdiary
Unfortunately as much as it pains me to say it we are carrying 2 riders which means that the top 5 have to do all the scoring. We ain't gonna win too many if it continues, especially away. King and Covatti are reliable heat leader scorers, Risager is generally good for 7 to 8 at home and 5 or 6 away so whether you do any good is down to Kerr and Sargeant, they were both good last night and got you home but I thought your reserves were awful. Â Track looked a bit heavy early doors but was slick thereafter and it didn't provide much in the way of entertainment except when Covatti was riding. Baldyman
The track wasn't heavy, just a bit wet on bends 1 and 2, but slick it was from start to finish. After a few races there was no bite left in it and it basically was left to turn to powder. There was no reason why a drop of water couldn't have been put on the outside during the meeting. For some reason our track never seems to get any water once the meeting has started.
TheScotsman
Maybe they were mindful that there was a helluva lot of rain around the area so didn't want to add more to the track in case it turned up? Â Fortunate to miss the weather I reckon. Â Best part of the night for me was Paco so very nearly getting a paid win in heat 14!! A slight mistake let Tofty through on the last bend but he was a mile ahead of Perry. Â Maybe just maybe there's a rider there!! Â Ritchings was certainly trying some different lines but to no avail. Â Those 2 are certainly a huge achilles' heel for Ippo and I'm not sure they will improve enough over the season to pay their way. The other 5 looked ok. I would quite like to see Covatti try some different tactics occasionally other than the blasts around the outside, even if they are good to watch. But maybe I don't see him often enough and he does it when I'm not there!! Â Â I thought Grondal was being touted as the best reserve in the whole wide PL? And Tofty looked on a par with one of the pre-meeting kids in his first race!!
2ndbendbeerhut
Looks like yesterday's predicted rain has hit today... Big style!
