Ipswich Vs Peterborough Thurs April 14th Plc

Recommended Posts

Just checked BBC Weather and Met Office for latest weather .

Both saying

Today:

Many places dry to start, just a scattering of showers and some brightness. Heavy, slow-moving showers are likely to develop more widely after midday, some heavy with a risk of hail and thunder. Warm sunny spells in between the showers. Maximum Temperature17 °C.

BBC Weather have also issued this current weather warning about an hour ago

Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to break out on Thursday afternoon. Not everywhere will see these, but where they do occur, be aware of localised impacts from hail and lightning, as well as heavy rain producing standing water on roads and reduced visibility.

The showers will slowly die out on Thursday evening.

Current weather Blue Sky and Sunshine

Fingers crossed the showers miss us or stay away all together

I said this yesterday, they're playing it safe. April showers and all that. Can hit anywhere at any time.

Yesterday all forecasts said heavy thundery showers for Ipswich, we never had one.

I take it the rain off tickets can be used tonight?

Yup as we thought , just had it confirmed on twitter from @ipswichspeedway , rain off tickets from the abandoned (If you can call it that seeing how we didn't even get going ) are valid for entry for tonight's meeting.
