BWitcher
Trouble with you is that you never seem capable of any form of two sided debate as you always seem to insist you are correct in everything you say? What actually is so Elite about the 'Elite League in your opinion?...oh hang on there is no such thing as opinions to you just down the middle no bollocks truth ...hope you are not this anal in the real world There isn't a two sided debate if you understand the English language. It is nothing to do with 'opinion'. A quick google for the definition of the word 'Elite' reveals:- 1. a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group or society. Now, if you can name another speedway league in the UK that is superior in terms of ability you might have a case. I'll save you the time however.. you can't. And yes, I am like this in the real world. It's called being intelligent. Actually, no I take that back, you don't even need to be intelligent to understand basic English language. 'bollocks' and 'anal' - interesting words to use. Maybe just consider where BWitcher lives these days and why he has ended up there? Not exactly a hotbed of speedway. I'm interested, why have I ended up here in your consideration?? Edited April 17, 2016 by BWitcher
Mark
You gotta be kidding me. Poole fans, the same as any club, want to see their team win. If its a big margin so what? We beat Lakeside last week by a big score but the racing was great. Success = more fans and Matt ford is well aware of that. Thanks good reply Shovel. Poole hasn't got anything else with no football, cricket, rugby to watch so speedway have to be the towns fix. But I still wonder if continued domination of a 8 team league will get boring after a while. Not all matches will give great speedway. LisaColette
And another one 20 miles up the road further... It is 30+ miles from Poole to Southampton! Or a bit more if you venture to the slightly crazy place of Portsmouth! Edited April 17, 2016 by lisa-colette
Little Nicki
No football? Could have sworn there was a premier league football team five miles up the road. Finished making a fool of himself on the Polish Leagues Live on TV thread, by not realising that he was watching recorded matches via his new kodi toy, and again on the Poole v Coventry thread, by not realising that the Bees could not use a Guest for the injured Woryna, SS now claims Bournemouth as part of Poole to promote his beloved town, seemingly not realising that Poole's own football team had won their own league title this season and been promoted to the National League South (congratulations Poole Town FC). Maybe best to keep at what (you think) you're best at in future, otherwise the Village Idiot award may be prized away from your friend and lap-dog, Starman this year.
LisaColette
Ummmm a lot of Poole fans go to watch Bournemouth and the college is called The Bournemouth and Poole College.
Little Nicki
Ummmm a lot of Poole fans go to watch Bournemouth and the college is called The Bournemouth and Poole College. Always thought it was more Bournemouth and Boscombe rather that Bournemouth and Poole (or Poole and Bournemouth). Wasn't AFC Bournemouth once known as Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic? The college has three sites doesn't it? One in Bournemouth, one in Parkstone (so nearly Poole) and one out by the Golf Course, so understandable I guess that they call it The Bournemouth and Poole College. (Unlike the university in Norwich being called the University of East Anglia and the one in Ipswich being called University College Suffolk. A lot more confusing.) Anyway, this has nothing to do with people having No Sympathy for Matt Ford, or whatever this thread is about.

Wasn't a few years ago, though, when Ford named his NL team Bournemouth. Asked why the crowds were so poor for what was (from memory) a reasonably successful team he replied that Poole folk weren't interested in anything with 'Bournemouth' in the name so didn't go. But of an inbecilic post to be honest. As I dont follow Polish speedway closely and there was a meeting on how would I know it wasn't live? When this meeting was on I was stuck in a massive traffic jam at Dartford attempting to go and support my team. Poole Town? Dont know where they play, Hamworthy I guess with 200 people standing around the edge to fetch the ball. As anyone would know, Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch is a large conurbation and Bournemouth FC is a premier club, so for anyone to say theres no local football club is an imbecile. As for ever changing speedway rules, who cares about the finities of the r/r rule. Most wont know it either.

As for ever changing speedway rules, who cares about the finities of the r/r rule. Most wont know it either. You were the butt of an imbecilic post SS? We can't be having that now, can we? The guys who regularly post on the Polish League Live on TV thread and know what they are watching had a good old laugh didn't they, eh? And there was me thinking that you were the font of all knowledge when it comes to speedway and Kodi. Maybe not then. And you actually ventured outside of Dorset to support your beloved Poole Pirates? Well done you. Medal on its way. Always beware of the M25, especially on a Friday. Regular travellers outside their cosy little environs would know that. (Now, who was it that used to be a Swindon fan? And how much is a one way ticket to Rome?) For your information, Poole Town play at the Tatnam Ground, School Lane, Poole BH15 3JR. I'm sure The Dolphins fans would only be too pleased to see you there. Their promotion leaves them two levels below the Football League. Poole Town are your beloved Poole's local football club by the way. Over 1,000 people at their match yesterday. My nephew was one of them as he lives within the large urban conurbation you describe - and he is not an imbecile. No surprise, I suppose, that a Poole fan does not care about the Speedway Regulations. Easy for anyone to find and download off the SCB web-site. Some of you Poole guys really do set yourselves up with some of your comments on here. Now, back to this fascinating, No Sympathy for Matt Ford thread. I'll concentrate on the last few heats at West Row (that's in Suffolk by the way).
