solrac
Isn't it strange that this has been going on for nigh on 10 years now. Isn't it strange that many, many posters who used to post and 'bitch' as you say about Poole and Matt Ford now don't.. because they've given up on the sport completely. Isn't it strange how the more Poole have their way in the running of the sport, the emptier the terraces become. Matt Ford = Great for Poole.. Cancerous to the sport as a whole. Absolute drivel.
heathen chemistry
Oooh I wonder what was there before it was edited!!! Did I hit a nerve... no not at all.....i think i did thou .... Isn't it strange how the more Poole have their way in the running of the sport, the emptier the terraces become. Matt Ford = Great for Poole.. Cancerous to the sport as a whole. not really strange ......its true not all matts fault thou ...there are other promoters that words escape me to describe there incompitence That reference isn't just Matt Ford though is it. There is no evidence anywhere from any other promoter that they're interested in British Speedway's future All sports & business in general is all about "What makes me the most money". Every club is looking after no'1. Matt Ford isn't Speedway's biggest cancer, it's the way the BSPA has been run as a whole over the last 20yrs. yes your right its how the bspa has been run....matt ford of which has probably had the most influence so has to take his share in blame on this as do the other promoters..... £75 ...... where do you get that from? £17 each adult = £34, kids under 11 free, kids up to 16 £5, how ever many kids have u got lol. Or does everyone have to have grub and drinks and a prog (not necessary, take your own, print your own) .... either paying for more adults ....or very hungry Edited April 12, 2016 by heathen chemistry
BWitcher
Absolute drivel. Absolute fact. It's not all Ford's fault, but he has played a massive part in it. Feel free to show me that attendances are higher, folk who used to complain haven't deserted the sport and that Poole weren't at the heart of many of the controversies that have driven people away. Succeed in that and you can then claim my post was 'absolute drivel'. Edited April 12, 2016 by BWitcher

So who are these posters who used to post and 'bitch' that have now given up on the sport..? Poole have nothing to do with emptying terraces. Many viable reasons for this have already been posted, but yet you ignore them to have another pop at Poole Speedway and it's unjustified. I'm not Matt Ford's biggest fan (well documented on here), however he is the best in the business when he plays things straight like he has this year. Cancerous for speedway? Woz01
Well I know several people that have given up on going regularly over the last few years, some even family members. Mainly because of the 2010/2011 off season and things that have happens since. I have a fair few followers on twitter who have also stopped attending more recently. It's easy to blame the club making the best fist of it. Maybe it's down to other clubs not working to the same ethos?
Daniel Smith
People are not walking away because of Poole. They're walking because of the lack of balls by the BSPA. Credit has to go to Ford as he's the man proving time & time again how inept the BSPA & SCB are at abiding by & understanding their own rulebook & allowing incorrect interpretation

They're all at it Belle Vue - The burst water pipe - 5>6000 fans in a stadium knowing no meeting was ever going to happen King's Lynn - Buster faking a heart issue to delay the start of a meeting because a rider wasn't in attendance - Unrepairable stadium electrical issue I bet everyone has a story to tell about their own club. THEY ARE ALL AT IT - FACT!! Poole are not the problem, the BSPA are. It's happening from the very top of the Elite League to the very bottom of the National League. It's about time people get their skulls around that idea. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeverything a club gets away with becomes the associations fault. That is FACT

That is FACT Matt Ford used his status as part of the MC in the Kildemand affair to directly hinder another club and their business. Cant say anyone has ever done anything like that and you can't blame the bspa either. He was a lone wolf on that one.

Buttons
I understand that the crowds are falling in the PL too, after reading all the posts on here about Ford I would imagine Pl crowd levels are his fault as well.

Look in the mirror a bit more you'l be telling yourself you look like George Cloney.. There you go people, don't have opinion of your own. ask starman what you think, he knows better than you do. And there me thinking I gave up on the sport after Matt Ford signed Kildemand by text and I had to watch a 6 riders team complete a meeting which resulted in 3 heats with only 3 riders. But no, it's because I live in Wales. Clearly in starman World thats miles from anywhere!
