mdmc82
Could Leicester be having problems and cant put a team out? Wouldn't they just use guests if riders were missing?
Mr Bump
It would appear the Belle Vue promotion have called this meeting off as they are running scared at the prospect of facing a full strength Lions side. Â Obvious really.
robert72
i cannot see anything on the official leicester website to say it's off ? Â Let's hope the lions fans look on here to save a wasted trip.

LeicesterLion39
Could Leicester be having problems and cant put a team out? doubt it all our riders were flying in today from abroad, we got a full team so not our fault. I smell a rat at Belle Vue.
Alan_Jones
I saw a short clip of someone practicing,i believe it was yesterday and as you say, bone dry. Kyle Bickley? He tweeted a clip yesterday of some laps he did on Wednesday on a 500. The track looked very good.

robert72
Look a little bit harder then. It was on their homepage last night. That's strange as several of us couldn't see it on the official site. Just seen a little bit on the bottom corner, surely should be bigger than that where the previews are so many can see it. speedibee
Do they want a completely dry night perhaps to make sure the track will def hold up? I think you are right , and of course they wont want to get whitewash all over their new stadium

New Science
So we've had secret squirrel messages that a meeting should be off with no official announcement until woofinden said he wouldn't race, result, moaning on bsf. Â Then we had promoters from other teams announcing that a meeting is off which was confirmed by Belle Vue around 48 hours before the meeting, result, moaning on bsf. Â Belle Vue announce a meeting is postponed with around 24 hours notice, no secret squirrel, nothing from other promoters and......yep, moaning on bsf. Â The bsf notrights have spent the last five years moaning about Belle Vue and it looks like they just can't help themselves. If sky show the Poole meeting the unusual suspects will no doubt be out in force yet again. Â Fwiw I reckon they don't want to risk an abandonment given that the rain is now forecast to arrive at 8pm. I'm sure the bsf moaners would prefer to be moaning at home, frantically bashing away on their keyboards, rather than struggle to get their rants out on their notsmartphone using the free WiFi at the stadium. I admire you're stamina in constantly defending the indefensible that is Belle Vue Speedway.
mdmc82
Belle Vue appear to still be having problems with the track which is the reason for the call off. Â http://bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1668
