Sheffield Vs Scunthorpe Lc 7/4/16

Recommended Posts

Anyone see Scunny getting a sniff of anything here?

I can't see anything other than a home victory by 16-20 though Auty and Douglas are capable around Owlerton.

Scorpions will be out to make amends for last Fridays slip up at Peterborough; make no mistake about it.

Anyone know how Zeddy is; will he be fit or do we have a guest ?.

Tough match certainly; but we need to clear heads; and use the meeting to re-establish a foothold.

Want a win sure; if we can... but if not; restoring confidence with a good nights racing; and safely; will do me.

6 points for R/R for Holub is probably more than he would have scored. Scunny did alright though better than I thought they would. Berge was excellent for the Tigers.

Rubbish meeting, only passing was when the Sheffield riders went wide on bend 2 and the Scunthorpe lads went through on the inside, so two overtakes in 15 races otherwise just gate and go.

someone needs to sort out the track so we can some racing instead of follow my leader.

Think there was a lack of track prep yesterday due to the weather. They left it late to water it as they had been anticipating the possibility of it raining at some time during the afternoon right up to the start of the meeting. The bloke with the mic said something about it during the team announcements if I'm not mistaken. But then again the track's been poor for the last few years on and off, there's been too many meetings when it's been slick with all the riders taking the inside line for four laps! One or two tried the outside last night with no gain as such when trying to chase the leader.

That could explain this week but it was the same last week as well

the last time boocock was here he wanted an ultra slick track for some strange reason, i hope this isn't the case again

That is now the last two meetings that the Scorpions have raced at(P'boro & Sheffield where there has been no dirt on the track. Are teams getting scared of our racing entertainers or being boring to catch us out & make sure the home team wins!

What do people want?

Be entertained but lose or be bored with FTG racing.

You know where to come then at 6.30 on sun. Be entertained at the EWR.
