Reviresco
I saw Robert Lambert put in a hugely impressive performance at Berwick the other night and IMO he will be crowned as GB Under-21 Champ tomorrow night. If he can get out of the starts I think you may be right, Fingers crossed!! Considering Lambert is the only competitor in the line-up riding in a top 3 position in the EL, if he finishes all his races, he should walk this. More interest probably in who else can gain a rostrum place and be considered for the World U21 and Reserve SWC position.

If he wins it people will say he should have won it anyone and if he does not he'll get slated??

RobMcCaffery
Is this being shown online anywhere? It's not being televised so no.
screm
Is this being shown online anywhere? To the best of my knowledge this meeting isn't being streamed live, but here are the up dates, a more than adequate substitute. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/15381/british-u21-final-sheffield-30pm

Daniel Smith
Absolute madness from Lambert. Nobody ever when they first pick goes from Gate 4. What a plonk. Will learn more from this though than winning it for sure. Come back stronger.
diamond@heart
No, not at all and apologies if it came across as such. No need to apologise, I just know some people think that way. 😑 Congrats to Josh, gutted for Lambert. Still think winner should be top scorer after 20 heats, but hay ho. soupy
Well done Josh unlucky Robert but to go through the card unbeaten& lose is a travesty,I agree as well the winner should be after 20 heats.

Is there any person [sane speedway fan-obviously] who does not believe that the best U21 rider in this country did not win his championship? Oh well, there is the 'Full' champion honours of Brit champion, EL Champ, PL champ and Gp qualifier still up for grabs and not forgetting a World cup team place. All the previous are up for the taking for all the placers at Owlerton tonight, but realistically, only one of those riders is truly fancied in any real way and it sure aint Bates- not yet anyway.
Triple.H.
TBH Lambert may go on to have a truly great career. The public remember winners not runners up. Edited April 14, 2016 by Triple.H.

Apologies, I was wrong about this - given duff info. Edited April 24, 2016 by Blackadder
Triple.H.
Gate positions for the semi-final and final were drawn out, the riders didn't choose them. Should be the result after 20 heats then,if your finishing position gives you no advantage in choice of gate position
sommelier
Best meeting I've been to by far this season, some excellent races
Daniel Smith
Gate positions for the semi-final and final were drawn out, the riders didn't choose them. That is an even bigger sense of madness from the BSPA. Ridiculous
Cue Ball
I thought I had seen the riders choosing gates in the pits prior to the semi - I can't imagine that they would have been allocated them and fairly sure that I saw the picks taking place in the pits. Lambert probably went for gate 4 because he had it in his previous race where he had beaten Josh. Edited April 15, 2016 by Cue Ball
whippy
I know I keep saying this but I still cannot agree with this format. How can a rider who goes through the card unbeaten not be champion ? Should not have to race off !!!!
