Dekker
Don't expect the most pessimistic Edinburgh fan or optimistic Berwick fan saw that coming. It's a shame it'll count for nothing as Glasgow will top the group and the Monarchs will surely strengthen by the time the Bandits return in the league Not surprised at all, until Dan and Jye find their feet the team will be prone to such banana skins, although Berwick really should have buried Edinburgh even with Theo and Wethers flying. Dekker
What on earth is up with anders mellgren? Wet grippy track + he's either rubbish or bust at the dale, was bust tonight.
Django
Wet and grippy at Worky on Sunday and he didn't like that either. Can see a change coming there if he doesn't pull his finger out

Confidence seems shot to pieces - hasnt recovered properly from that shocking crash a few years ago, such a shame

Pinny
We win at Armadale, and still there are unhappy people?I couldnt give a toss about the result, was wondering why a former fans favourite at my club has suffered such a poor start to the season

MD
Does Etheridge remain on a 5 unless he goes above his assessed average? Or will he be at reserve in the not too distant?
topsoil
Speechless. Seen too many hidings at Armadale and even a few defeats off them at Shielfield. Really did not see this coming, even though Edinburgh are obviously weaker this season. Still thought they would have enough with Masters, Riss and Wolbert at home. Bit concerned about the form of Anders Mellgren, four poor meetings so far, but that won't spoil my mood.

SCB
Does Etheridge remain on a 5 unless he goes above his assessed average? Or will he be at reserve in the not too distant? Can't drop below 5. So unless Clegg gets his rolling average over 5 at some point (and can't see that happening any time soon from 3.8) then Etheridge stays in the 1-5 on a 5. And as the rule state you can't drop an assessed rider Edinburgh are stuck with him! 16.3.2 Riders with assessed MA’s (other than an assessed 3.00) cannot be removed from a PL team re-declaration. 18.6.2.1 No rider with an Assessed MA, other than the Category 4 rider, can drop below 5.00 at any time during the Season. george.m
Bearing in mind Armadale has a micro mentality, sorry climate, does this mean there'll be no meeting now at Armadale on 20th May? Just asking.
Cj69
Nice to see we please the Edinburgh haters (although im not sure why they hate so much but if it keeps them happy) A very good meeting and credit to all the riders who made a match of it despite the constant (but light) rain throughout the night. And all done and dusted before 9 (why not do that every week). I didnt expect a Berwick win though we would have just enough to scape a win but fair play to them they battled away and deserved it. Really solid scoring from Pijper and Doolan aptly backed up by the rest (Mellgren apart). Monarchs just didn't perform. Masters was sublime and Clegg did make a few great passes and very entertaining to watch. Riss/Wolbert/Fisher all had their moments but need more than just the odd good race. Etheridge and Bewley as expected but was nice to see them putting some laps in after the meeting. They both have potential but I think we will see both struggle for points for a while. To early to say we should drop either but if no improvement im sure replacements will be in (all within the rules of course ). Only going to get worse next week when a fired up Glasgow come calling. Win or Lose I will be there (when wife/job allows) cant have success all the time.
Gavan
Well don't say I didn't warn you! Except I was told I was Edinburgh bashing when it was the most obvious thing to see. No Cook, Sedgeman, Branford and there replacements got 7 tonight!!! Ryan Fisher is past it and the others need more time. You lost at home when your number 1 is faultless and the opposition number 1 has a poor night and also Mellgren. Berwick are not that strong do the monarchs have to be worried

Unfortunately you have a few smug, arrogant and obnoxious supporters in here and elsewhere that bring it on the rest of you. They love rubbing people's noses in it when the team are successful, so others take the opportunity to even the score when they can. Your wrong about Berwick who have 3 good proven scorers at the Dale in Doolan, Pijper and Wethers, plus they only won by 2, hardly a rout. If this is still happening in a month or so then yes this team won't be around as it is, but after 2 matches no need to get your tshirt yet Gavan. Unfortunately you have a few smug, arrogant and obnoxious supporters in here and elsewhere that bring it on the rest of you. damosuzuki
All I'm concerned about is us getting some form of points next week, a very handy 3 for Berwick tonight. Etheridge and Bewley haven't been given a chance to be fair - early days. However, hoping for no improvement next wk. Don't need to worry about Fisher, Clegg et all tbh.
