Leicester V Lakeside 2nd April

Recommended Posts

This will be a good meeting, hopefully closer at home after this evening's big loss for Leicester.

Team Line-Ups:

Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Nicolai Klindt, 3. Grzegorz Walasek, 4. Szymon Wozniak, 5. Sebastian Ulamek, 6. Josh Auty and 7. Paul Starke

Lakeside: 1. Andreas Jonsson, 2. Piotr Swiderski, 3. Kim Nilsson, 4. Richard Lawson, 5. Lewis Bridger, 6. Robert Mear and 7. Lewis Kerr

Is there anyone going to this meeting who would be able to text updates to the Updates site? If so, could you please send me a private message including your mobile number.

Thanks

Lions SHOULD win, whether or not they do will depend on Walasek and Wozniak. Gregorgz hasn't totalled anywhere near to some of the form he showed for us last year, he needs a good meeting. Wozniak wasn't great at home v Sheffield, he needs to at least be picking up good scores at home (as he does struggle away)

Well the weather looks good in most of leicestershire today , so the track should be in top nick and a good test of the alterations . I would put my money on lakeside , since their home track Is quite similar and the same team managed to hand out a good Hammering (Pun Intended) last night , a win here for lakeside will add a bit of spice to the restaged local derby and basement battle .

Lakeside are one of the worst travellers aswell doesnt bode well for when belle vue and poole come to town.

Long season ahead for leicester

riding like this it will be a short one . no chance of playoffs so finished in August

I've been watching speedway for over 40 years and tonight was the first time I have ever left before the end of the main meeting. A combination of getting stuffed and getting covered in clouds of dust from about the 4th or 5th heat made our minds up to go home.

On a positive note the changes to the track appear to have made a difference, unfortunately tonight it meant that when we actually gated in front, the Lakeside riders were more able to get by!
