Bee 26
Wolves don't travel well, there has never been many Wolves fans at Brandon. Not sure why as its only 30 miles away
MFE
When you look at this team it is highly doubtful that they would compete well in the Premier League let alone the Elite - 3 Reserve Riders, 2 Heat Leaders who are inconsistent to put it mildly, plus Harris and a relatively untried, no wonder they are struggling. Only Harris and Garrity and then only if he was at Reserve, should have been signed for 2016. We need some flair in the side, riders who can gate and then compete in every race, not just now and again when the wind is in the right direction, The comment from Joe Beevers above, is correct only the play-offs matter, so why then are we fans supporting what in effect are a series of challenge matches, should we not wait until the play-offs for some serious racing? stevebrum
When you look at this team it is highly doubtful that they would compete well in the Premier League let alone the Elite Coventry have already raced against a PL team, and beaten Glasgow at home. Any EL team will beat a PL team as is standard.
heathen chemistry
there defo not challenges, vital points being lost , a good start is absolutely essential .... not looking good with this squad...clearly garrity should of started at reserve, you would then be able to sign another 6/7 pointer to back up top 3 and would still be able to sign woryna the team could of been 1 kk 2 woryna 3 harris 4 king 5 6 pointer 6 garrity 7 sargeant/bates if garrity moved up after 4 weeks , woryna would be reserve , ensuring coventry always had a strong reserve Edited April 2, 2016 by heathen chemistry
G the Bee
Could we have used Garrity and Sarge? Either way, it should have been Garrity plus A.N. Other. It was obvious to everyone, except, of course, the people who put the team together, what the issue was. I am dead against the way the draft has been put together this year. The likes of Garrity, Newman, Auty, Worrall should all have been made to move up into the 1-5, but the fact is, they were not. As a result, we had to cover the moves of the other teams who picked a strong reserve. We didn't. This decision, plus the signing of King, did for us. remembertheracers
Let's face it mate, we've had it. Had a good run, but everything dies eventually. Could be lucky to see the season out. Crowd must have been less than 100 for the NL match on Monday? Less than 100 with the dynamo L Rodgers in charge - never!
Woz01
The signing of King is what did us, narrowed all the options for a decent 2nd string. I would suggest wait till May as to whether our season is over.
Bee 26
Not many easy fixtures in April and May, the crowds are going to drop and Horton could be in for a big loss...
philfromcov
when you look at the wolves team rider by rider and compare with the bees, its not hard to see how we got stuffed, expected a 40-50 and wasn't far off. i know its early days but its pretty obvious already the team isnt strong enough, struggled to beat Leicester, harris or KK have an off night or even and off ride and were in trouble. king only beat bech all night, obviously thats the weak link because garrity and woryna doing roughly what is required. but changing one of the top five, does not address the massively weak reserves either
Bee 26
We've been saved another beating on tv, Sky have cancelled Monday's meeting due to weather! Edited April 2, 2016 by Bee
SCB
Really? Thought there would at least be a couple of hundred due to it being a local derby. It takes nearly three hours to get to Brandon from Poole but theres usually 30+ of us make the trip every time Poole are there, and many more for a crucial meeting. If they sense a win loads turn up. Otherwise they're almost invisible. As bad as anything Lakeside and even Eastbourne used to send!

mdmc82
Was Knuckey excluded after his fall in heat 2, or did he retire please? He got up so the race could continue and pulled in to the centre as couldn't continue round as hurt his hand.

Not sure why as its only 30 miles away I was surprised there weren't more Wolves fans there especially as it was the first meeting of the season. Wolfie Can I just remind fellow Wolfies of the win at Lakeside early last season. Was looking good until others won there and it was realised they were not very good. you mean there is more than one Wolfie?
