george.m
After blowing away the cobwebs last Sunday it's down to League Cup duty for the all new Tigers. With all our boys showing hunger and fire in their bellies this has all the makings of a cracker. If any of our dearest and nearest ... yes it's only 28.7 miles between our stadiums, but Embra know that already ... decide to turn up it should be a cracking atmosphere. As Hearts and Stubb's Duds are playing on Saturday, you have no excuses! How could you possibly turn down the opportunity to turn up and look down your nose at our luxury facilities? Don't worry. Don't listen to the G&T and country member brigades on BSF you don't need to call Churchill to up your insurance beforehand. Possilpark is perfectly safe. Those of you who actually attend speedway here know the Saga boys are talking bollards. On the track, we'll undoubtedly be looking to avenge last year's Play Off and League Cup finals, in the process laying down a marker for 2016 against last season's top dogs (no offence intended). The Minions bring 3 Ashfield regulars who know their way round and won't be shy to give it a try - even if one of them was in 2014. I'd like to say 4, but Mr Riss came to grief on bends 3/4 way too often last year. And yes, the winter's longest running saga was finally resolved last week - Tian Tian Edinburgh Zoo's female panda got pregnant quicker than Embra signing a full team. But they have one now, and I'm looking forward to seeing young Dan - good luck son! Glasgow have declared their team and as Embra's is yet to be announced just perm the 2 to 5 below in your own order. And for those of you who won't be joining us because you're a glory hunter, too mean or just plain scared - to keep you amused between heats on the Updates website, I've presented your 1-6 riders in anagram form. Makes a nice wee change from the People's Friend, Scotland on Sunday suduko, or the Sunday Post's Oor Wullie. A prize of a Monarch's tea cosy to the first person to say it's only 1-5! (CSI - spot the deliberate trap). Oh and before anyone complains, one of these is exactly how it came out on the anagram website - honest! 1. Lawson 2. Lunna3. Worrall4. Barker5. Summers6. mac101
Having seen Eric Riss riding Stoke last week he looks pretty slimmer than last year and very quick looking think he will improve big time this year but think tiggers will be too stronger this year for them

george.m
Think id prefer Worrall at No4 to cover ht14. I would too, but it's still early days and Stewart not afraid to make decisions.

I was going to make up a match programme and spend the next three days filling it out in every possible combination. Sad I know

Pogo1
Heat 3 looks awesome! As does heat 13, weather forecast looks better now so fingers crossed all goes well. The first biggie of the season and the chance for bragging rights, well until a week on Friday, With it being a very small group every point is important, any win of 7 or over will do me cause if Edinburgh were to get a point it puts them in the driving seat . I'll go for Glasgow 50 Edinburgh 40
cyclone
Expect this to be a comfortable home win, given the impressive performance by the Tigers last Sunday, together with this being the first competitive outing for three of the Monarchs. Richard Lawson & Richie Worrall have already been been scoring well in the EL, so it would not be a surprise if they were unbeaten. For the Reigning Champions & League Cup Holders, this will be a severe test of their resources, particularly for Jye Etheridge making his UK debut, and for Dan Bewley making his first start at PL level. IMO this looks like a 25+ point win for the homesters. Finally wish for an injury free match for both sides.
Dekker
If the Tiggers don't win with relative ease, they will be jumping into the Clyde like lemmings. Fish v Yoda "Do you know who i Am" Barker should be fun Can Bewley put Ayres in his place? Will Etheridge score a point? Mr Blobby
Not expecting much tomorrow to be honest. Jye and Dan will probably struggle to score and with a few boys not had a meeting yet this year as well. Should be a fairly comfortable home win.
