Don't think much of crowd looks poor

Too far north for the majority of fans on a Monday night. Terrible crowd to be honest.

Sky going on about it being the biggest event on the British calendar (playoff?) and we see a crowd of less than a thousand? Should keep it central so people can travel.

Why don't the use the same system as the GPs ? Twenty qualifying heats then two semis and a final is a far better way to decide the title

Line up is no better then the PL riders championship unfortunately it's the state of British Speedway

Have to agree lineup is bad bad bad.. Hopefully things will improve in the next few years as we see new guys coming through.

Cook running a last on his own patch. Opps.

Welcome to the negativity of British speedway thread

I for one am impressed that we have a decent stadium and track at last

And I think there's as many there as at Wolves last year (all squashed in to one half straight )

Surely it's sky's insistence it's a Monday night

The fact that Richard Hall is there says it all

True. Just suprised with so many people living in the area they cant get anyone through the gate to watch.

Hopefully the speedway tonight will be decent after all the rave reviews.

Agree, probably double last year at Monmore, just spread out more. Poor weather & traffic problems certainly haven't helped though

Be far better if it was a Saturday night , makes it far more family friendly , not many can afford to take two days off for a speedway meeting

Not going to many rave reviews on this evidence. Poor meeting so far

Agreed, if they had ran it nearer to the world cup but on a weekend they could have made use of the temporary stand they are bringing in if the demand was there.

I doubt any track would pull more in through the gate for this meeting on a Monday night, not even Poole.
