Baldyman
Well I expect the panthers to be very strong at home, but wasn't so sure away, but whilst emil is at reserve you are very strong home and away. Oh and I've tipped you to win by 30 on your next meeting at home.

I think Panthers will win against the Scorpions but 30 points is a bit optimistic , but I feel it should be a comfortable home win

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
This is where it depends on whether the brit reduction for Lewis counts in the team pisitioning or not! Only one of Morten or Worrall can take r/r but which one????? Need ref to confirm before the start....
2ndbendbeerhut
latest greensheets (ver 3) Danny King 9.54 Nico Covatti 7.55 Morten Risager 6.86 Lewis Kerr 6.85 James Sarjeant 4.88 Paco Castagna 3.33 Darryl Ritchings 3.00 so that would suggest that its Worrall and the reserves. However at Scunthorpe when R/R was needed for Risager it was Kerr, Sarjeant, Castagna and Ritchings used. This would suggest that Kerr is above Risager or the Witches got it wrong. Depends did they ask who could ride or did they use the programme aves which had Kerr without his reduction? Anyone know (Baldy?) what the Witches programme had for Kerr's ave v Scunthorpe at Foxhall? Edit : Witches website has Kerr as 7.03 Edited April 1, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut
Baldyman
That's why they got Worrall cos they knew sarjent probably not racing. Our top 4 need to be scoring plenty of points cos we don't want Sheffield getting any points from this meeting. Kerr average against scunthorpe was 7.
2ndbendbeerhut
c) A rider who has participated in the NL will receive a 2.5% reduction on their MA after attaining an established EL/PL MA, for the next 3 Seasons taking regard of any season where the Rider did not appear in a PL/EL Team Declaration. So Kerr and Sarjeant's averages had been reduced by 2.5%, to give them a MA. Seems that this MA is what is used not original figure. cheers Baldyman, so Witches are using his unamended figure, hope that someone queries it before tomorrow. 16.4.2 At least 3 days before the Meeting, the Home Promotion must log the Team Line-Ups (inc. NJL/MDL) Teams at the nominated SCB Website, including each riders MA, details of any rider in a Team’s current Declaration, who will be missing, including the full reason for absence and the Facility being used including name and MA of any Guest rider. So i wonder what was put on these lists? Taken from lovespeedway "The Witches will be without Lewis Kerr, who is riding for Lakeside in the Elite League. Rider replacement will be used to cover his rides, meaning all but Danny King will be able to take an extra ride." Which confirms Witches are using 7.03 as Kerr's ave Edited April 1, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut

ZODIAK
It's supposed to be the warmest weekend of the year so far with temperatures above average and apparently warmer than Spain, with nice sunshine all weekend. Except a period this evening when heavy rain is expected between 7 and midnight! Honestly you couldnt make it up! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2646057?day=0 Edited April 2, 2016 by Hong Kong Phooey
spanner47
With no wind about it looks like the forecast wont change much. Shame, as I'm like many others these days, I wont go near a Speedway track if there's a threat of rain. I'll get home from Footy at 17-30 and make a decision then. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Quite unbelievable considering how the last few days have been and how the next few are forecast afetr that 5 hour window!! Even more frustrating with no meeting planned for Thursday either. Peterborough on the 14th is the next home match on the list.

ZODIAK
If the rain doesn't materialise, Ben Morley will replace the unwell Richard Hall for Sheffield. Beat me to it Fozzie! Slight improvement in the forecast, with light rain now from 8 until 10 before the heavy stuff comes. Fingers crossed it holds off enough to push the meeting through to a conclusion. 2ndbendbeerhut
Metoffice giving a better forecast now with rain at 10pm Wonder if the Witches line up has changed back to Worrall at 3 and R/R for Sarjeant? or will we have to go with Worrall at 2 and r/r at 3 as previously stated. Edit website has it 2 r/r 3 Worrall. Edited April 2, 2016 by 2ndbendbeerhut
