Rye House V Somerset Bh Monday 28/03/16

Recommended Posts

Can't see a thread for this one!

Looking at the forecast I doubt it will go ahead although it's due to stop raining around 1pm so if the track has been covered then ............. ?

Anyone living near the track have any more information please ?

If it goes ahead then a win for Rye looks on the cards.

Don't think we have any track covers... Heavy rain for about 5 hours early in the morning should be enough for an early rain off I'm afraid

Any news this morning please? Don't want a 5-hour journey and no racing. Looking a the terrible weather on the news around the Dartford Bridge, It doesn't look inviting.

I'm about half a mile from the track. It's blowing a gale and looks very wet out there

Cheers Shads, my mind is made up.......I'm stopping at home.

Hope for the sake of you local folks however, that you do get to see your speedway, even though I'll feel gutted for not travelling after all.

Best Wishes

Super afternoons racing in prospect ,,on what is predicted to be a warm sunny spring day, ,,Just hope they can keep the likely dust down ,....Can the Rockets edge it,,,Should be close on scores over the two meetings...Good luck to all the riders.... Dont forget your sun glasses they may have more than one use...?.

How much is the entrance for the Rebels match only

Logistically impossible as you'd have to clear the stadium before the NL match, then allow them in again, or rely on those who'd only paid £16 to leave after the PL match

I'd argue that when I go to the PL Pairs or 4TT and Rye don't make the latter stages I should receive a discount if I want to leave early

Only way to do it would be pay for both meetings on arrival and then open an 'exit' turnstile after the first match, people who only want to watch the PL match can leave and get the difference refunded.

Sounds like a right palava for the sake of four quid

So how much is the entrance then for the whole thing

So it's 20 quid yes

Cheers mate, I'm working Sunday but hopefully I can get away and over for the match, 6 pm start would have suited me 😏, still never mind , hope to see you Sid and the Rebels lads on Sunday.

See you there Cliff.
