Sheffield Tigers Vs Peterborough Panthers, 31/3/16, Lc

Will Stead be fit? If not I fancy panthers to win this

Stead WILL be fit, which led me to believe (in my ignorance) that for the first time in a year, a Sheffield team would be taking to the track without a guest rider. Then what do I find? Garrity is riding elsewhere - meaning we STILL have a guest in our ranks!

As a paying customer, my desire is to see a full-strength side of genuine Sheffield riders taking on all-comers. I'm heartily sick of seeing "Sheffield" teams cobbled together with riders from here, there and everywhere.

When oh when will we get to see a full-strength Sheffield team instead of the PL All-Stars we've become accustomed to?

if you dont like ricky , DONT USE HIM . simple.. if you like your rider that crash and burn , fair doo,s

Who said anything about not liking him? For my part, I simply said he generally wasn't as good at Sheffield as Jason Garrity. When Ricky was riding for Sheffield, I generally defended the bloke when others were moaning about him!

I think you're being a bit unfair, last year every member of the side suffered injury lay offs at some point, some simultaneously. The promotion couldn't really do a lot about that.

Bugger. 2 engine failures whilst in the lead effectively did us out of a win. Fair player to Peterborough though, they rode well and probably deserved something out of the meeting.

Good to see Steady back on a bike, think a couple of the races put to rest any concerns about whether there were any psych issues following his injuries that would stop him being as good as he was. Clearly wasn't afraid to mix it with the other riders and race for points.

Great meeting, first time been to Sheffield since elrc days! Great stadium, decent food, friendly crowd and good racing, what more can you want?

We were fortunate with Berge and Stead having engine failures when leading but we still would of been in with a sniff. Great start to the season. Performance of the meeting for me was Ully obviously for getting us the 2 points but Tom Perry, great speed and well worth his points.

Porsing and MPT need to improve gating badly but once they get failed in, we will be a hard team to beat. Don't think we will get hammered anywhere this season.

Unlucky Sheffield tonight.

Very good meeting and some cracking racing in front of a decent crowd for this time of year, shame about Steady and Dimitri's EFs when they were leading costing us the win, but the Panthers look a good outfit this year.

Was great to see Steady back looking like he'd never been away.
