cityrebel
The Storm meeting at Coventry was on this afternoon after hours of rain on Sunday and overnight. The track staff must have worked wonders to get this match on and unbelievably it was so dry and dusty the water wagon had to come out several times. Just shows what can be done with a bit of effort.well done to coventry for getting it on. If Brandon was a lot closer to home I would have made the effort to go. mikebv
Looks like Sky were right... Be interesting when BV eventually get up and running how the track covers perform (when they eventually arrive).... If they prove a success in getting on those frustrating meetings where on the day the weather is fine but the damage is done to the track leading up to race day, then maybe Sky will start to insist all get them?... Argos
Very odd I'm 4 miles from the Track, no rain at all, think this may have something to do with Cradleys meeting there last night,

Shale Searcher
its chucking it downIs it still chucking it down? Wolverhampton are usually excellent at getting meetings on when dodgy weather has been around.... So, is it Skys lack of confidence in Wolverhamptons ability to get the meeting on? Can't remember the last time Wolverhampton had a live Sky meeting postponed or abandoned...? Or is it because Sky don't want to go up against a terrestrial TV broadcast of an England football match, albeit a friendly.. Or is it another reason..?? Sportowfaky, saying meeting cancelled due to rain.... Edited March 29, 2016 by Shale Searcher
