New Yorker
I thnk this season might see a 'changing of the guard' for some of the older riders. I can see Pedersen, Hancock, Hampel and {maybe} Holder being on the decline, being replaced by Zmarzlik, Doyle, Janowski and Kildemand I agree Garry. These lists are really a lot o fun and so interesting how some riders are towards the top of some are near the bottom of others. I know that Kildemand took a lot of flack for going down a few times but all in all he's quite consistent and I think a little under rated by many. Yes I also agree that some of the older riders aren't going to do as well as last year because of the riders you mentioned and a few others. Steve Shovlar
1. Woffinden 2. Iversen 3. Holder 4. Janowski 5. Kildermand 6. Pedersen 7. Hancock 8. Hampel 9. Doyle 10. Lindback 11. Zagar 12. Zmarlik 13. Jonsson 14. Pawlicki 15. Harris Woffinden to keep the title under pressure from Iversen. Holder looks very fresh and will be much improved on last season. Expect Janiwski to be Polish number one. Kilderman to do well. Hancock and Pedersen on the wane but still pull out a win or two.
Mark
Hampel is not returning to speedway until May but no exact date given. He will miss Krsko and he must be unlikely to be match fit for Warsaw if lining up. He will have a huge task to reach the Top 8 as he'll surely take a couple of months to hit top form. Freddie Lindgren takes his place.

chris4gillian
I think Holder will surprise some of you and I also think Harris will have a better year and finish around 9th - 10th. Barring injuries, the World title will be between Woofy, Iversen and Pedersen who seems to have a huge hunger to win again with Janowski, Holder and Doyle not far behind. Might be Greg's first downhill year. Hampel to be the wooden spooner purely to injury, missed meetings and race fitness. The rest in pretty much any order filling the remaining spots. I was wondering why you didn't post your prediction before but then came the Edward Jancarza memorial and the best pairs first round on youtube. I think you were wise enough to take a peek at these events before posting. My take away after watching both was that Dudek and Vaculic would be a great addition to the SGP series. Really glad to see Holder riding much better and I agree with you that Niki is teetering.

ColinMills
lindback, woffy, zmarlik was the only person to put lindback in top half at the time in gp prediction....theres a pattern that emerges, Hampel, Woffy and lindback all failed at first attempt, yet on entering the series on the second time round, they all seem to adjust to it a lot lot better, hence why I jumped on lindback each way

Will the possible police charges impact on his season though?

To be honest, if I changed my list now I wouldn't even have Nicki in the top eight. He seems so slow this year, and even though he made the final last night he didn't win a race and got lucky in the semi. Zmarzlik and Pawlicki will get more confident as the series moves on and Holder, Janowski and Lindback are doing a lot better than I thought they would. Was more an update on where I saw things with a quarter of the series gone. The Danes the big disappointments so far. I've never thought there's a world championship in Iversen, he's too inconsistent, like Zagar and Jonsson. I reckon Kildemand will be top Dane this year. I was impressed with Thomsen, I wonder if he's any relation to good old Finn!
