mdmc82
I didn't think reserves could ride in heat 15? I think a huge worry for King's Lynn will be what happens when NKI leaves & Troy is back
Reviresco
I didn't think Lewis Rose would have been eligible for Heat 15 but what do I know? I didn't think reserves could ride in heat 15? Can't see anything in the Regs that excludes Reserves from participating in Heat 15. Qualification is basically Top 3 Points Scorers or Top 3 by Match Average. It's the team's top 3 by average and the 3 top scorers from programmed rides.

IronScorpion
A reserve cannot take a t/r but is fine to take a heat 15 ride, providing he qualifies. In this instance, he was the 3rd highest point scorer.
Halifaxtiger
Usual good quality meeting, especially given the weather conditions Two mates who haven't been to Arena Essex for a while commented on the standard and I'd maintain that those who criticise the track are simply living on a reputation it built up before the present promotion took over. Very impressed with Nilsson. There won't be many who can pass NKI and hold on to win in the EL or, for that matter, anywhere else. Mear, too, rode very well for a rider 2 years out of the saddle. Thought Lambert was unlucky to be excluded. As far as I could see, Swiderski locked up so hard he had nowhere to go.

Nor could I for the dust cloud! Lambert was fortunate to be in that particular re-run as, in my opinion, he should have gone in the preceding attempt.

I don't agree there I thought swidders left him no option twice in almost identical incidents but its all about opinions and everyone near me thought the same as you
bigcatdiary
Lakeside built for home fortress so no surprise on the result. I think that's spot on, its well known Cook hates losing at home so has built a team around Lakeside track specialists. It could well work against most of the EL sides but it will be interesting to see how they get on against Poole and Belle Vue. I don't see them doing much on the road but you can't have it both ways. Swiderski, Nilsson and Mear got paid 34 at Lakeside In the afternoon but just paid 10 at Lynn a few hours later.
Daytripper
Usual good quality meeting, especially given the weather conditions Two mates who haven't been to Arena Essex for a while commented on the standard and I'd maintain that those who criticise the track are simply living on a reputation it built up before the present promotion took over. I think too many people judge it from the past, as you say. There was certainly a fair bit of passing yesterday. Kelvin Tatum has an input on track prep and having ridden it himself at P&P he knows what he wants from it. I noticed he spent a lot of time with Richard Lawson at P&P and Lawson has been flying with at both meetings at home so far. He was also very hands on in pits with the riders. Too soon to say how it will all jwork out but so far Kelvin has been a much needed breath of fresh air in the club. Let's hope it continues. With regard to the Lambert / Swiderski episode, it seemed to me they c touched going into turn three and that probably unsettled Swiders. It was Lamberts third bite of the cherry in the same race though. I was a bit surprised that he wasn't put out the first time Swid went down and absolutely astonished that he got away with it the second time. With only three riders in the race AJ was already well clear and Swiderski and Lambert were the only riders on that part of the track so no way could have been first bend bunching, especially the second time. Swiderski was in front and Lambert took his leg away. Unfortunately Barbara Horley is invariably notoriously inconsistent with her decisions but fortunately it made no difference to the result so it doesn't matter.
