4th part - Stefan Deser won Argentinian Championship (Punta Alta) 1983/1984

Juan Carlos Curzio only 2 points less than leader and silver medal.

Good season for Alberto Albanese and bronze medal for him:

An Argentine rider competed in open meetings at Belle Vue in the early 1930s. He came to England with Frank Varey and Eric Langton after they toured in Argentina and Uruguay as I recall. On the other hand, what I cannot recall is the Argentine rider's name. Can any member help please?

I am not sure but there were Roberto Sigrand and Juan Pagano.

I am certain it was Roberto Sigrand who besides riding at Belle Vue may also have raced at Manchester White City. I think he was brought to the UK by then BV rider Frank 'Red Devil' Varey. And now I see the name of Juan Pagano think he may also have come to England at that time.

Post war an Argentine rider - about 1953 - also appeared in second-half races at Scottish tracks and also as far south at Rayleigh. Not sure of his name's spelling but think it was something like Rauol Avarya.

And request to all members:

I have started publishing articles about Argentinian Championship year by year about 3 months ago.

Now I need your help or your interesting. Sportowefakty are not interesting in this kind of publication.

Firstly it is the first world publication who put so rare results from Argentina. Secondly I publish it because I love to share results from all the world. Thirdly one great man spend many hours in argentinian libraries to find the information. The great man must pay for it!

If numbers of clicks is bigger I will still publish Argentinian Publication. You can inform others forums, speedway fans etc... I need more click to stay with it on Sportowe Fakty.

Thank you Puma23. My spelling of the name of the rider may not be accurate.

EDIT P.S: A reference and photo of the rider is on DEFUNCT SPEEDAY TRACKS at http://www.defunctspeedway.co.uk/Edinburgh%20old%20meadowbank.htm

The correct spelling of the rider's name is Raul Vyeria.
