Trevor
In all the talk of the new stadium, buildings, tickets etc, let's not forget the meeting! Who is going to win? Tai must be favourite?
customhouseregular
This early in the season with most riders not yet raced, or at least had very little track time, can we say anyone is favourite?. Brand new track and race rusty riders could mean some surprise results.
John Leslie
Reckon the GP riders who are used to having to ride on one-off tracks will be the best placed to figure out a completely new circuit. Woffy, Nicki, Zagar etc. BUt the way Craig Cook has started the season, I reckon he'll be up for it on his new home track.

Panthers89
Fair one, didnt do much digging into the post, credit to Nicki for going the extra mile, must be getting paid enough for the appearance.
OveFundinFan
So, have I rewad right that Nicki will land at Manchester at 16:10, if so that easy for him, BV is less then 30 min away . Any one going tonight that could post race results up direct from the stadium, even if its only every 4 heats? ColinMills
good performance from cook could cement early world cup bid, as king looking less likely by the day so far...cant see beyond harris/woffy/lambet/cook.....think id pick harris tonight (I'm in the minority with that pick)!! Star Lady
Viewing online clips so far, it looks amazing. Should be a brilliant atmosphere regardless of the quality of the racing.
BritPete
How great to see one of the most famous clubs in speedway in a brand new stadium befitting their great history. Every time I hear the name Belle Vue, I can't help but think of Peter Craven, one of the greatest English riders ever, and by far the most spectacular of the so-called big 5, of the old National League. There is no better meeting than this to start of this new era in the club's history. They have not had the success of old lately, but who knows, this new stadium may pave the way to more success. One thing for sure, Poole will never be regarded in the same way as Belle-Vue, they will be remembered for something different altogether. May tonight's meeting be a huge success, with much more to come.
