I'd have thought it was obvious that I was commenting on the ruthlessness at Zielona Gora, illustrated by Doyle's over the top riding and the case of the meeting where riders were forced to carry on racing through a snowstorm.

Yes Doyle has always been a forceful rider but not reckless like this.

When you look at their fans behaving like a cheap imitation of football thugs, with their pretty "Falubaz Hooligans" banner and the behaviour of a certain representative of their 'supporters' on here it doesn't paint a very pleasant picture of the place or its attitude.

Anyway, what matters is Rempala. My wife witnessed at Hackney what happens when riders lose their helmets. I pray this time the effects are not fatal.

I guess my confusion comes from the fact that the meeting in question was part way through when the snow started. At that point it's down to the referee whether the meeting continues or not. As far as I'm aware it was the ref that decided things continued, nothing to do with the club itself.

I can't really comment on Doyle today as I haven't seen the meeting yet. However, as I say, he has always been a very hard rider who rides close to the edge. I guess the pressure of the event maybe got to him today and he pushed a little further than normal.

As for the fans. Having visited the town for speedway a few times I can assure you that I found plenty of very friendly and welcoming people there, so it's not all as bad as you may imagine.

I think, though, that today the most important thing isn't results or fans behavior, it's the health of Krystian Rempala that takes priority.

I hope we get some more positive news very soon.

Doyle knocked one guy off with a move up the inner that took his front wheel. It wasn't really dirty just reckless. His own injury was caused when his bike hit a rut which caused him to hit a rider directly in front. Doyle got hooked up on his bike and went into the fence.

His helmet is a good 50 yards from his point of impact and from the video flew off as Woryna hit him.... Hitting the ground at that speed and force he's gonna need a Miracle... I really hope he pulls through. Can't imagine how Woryna feels right now. thoughts with both riders and families.

No one is. No one has collided with more riders than Pedersen. His debut in Poland was him crashing with 2 riders in one heat. There's no one close to Pedersen.

Doyle is fast becoming very aggressive on track, so his complaints about Nicki at the last GP last season was quite ironic.

Helmets only come off if not fastened properly or they'retoo big to start with - often see this with those new to motorcycles as they don't like the feeling of a tight fit. Sounds a nasty accident.

Watched it on a grainy video, was really horrible looking. I couldn't quite tell at which point the helmet comes off, but didn't look good.

Doyle of late has got involved in incidents that were entirely his fault, but yesterday`s crashes were down to track conditions, a number of riders lifted on bends one and two and it was a surprise that the kind of accident Doyle had with NKI didn't happen sooner.
