TheSmiler
Yes, to be fair doesn't sound like he's done badly. Shame he's not in a team that could have carried him for a bit though. Reserves are dreadful. Will be hard to win matches with the weakest pair in the league. Hopefully Friday will be a different story, we know how Bates can ride Brandon. If Garrity had stayed at reserve that might well have been possible. That decision will cost the Bees dearly this year imo..

Bee 26
Worrying when the new pole was one of the better riders on the night, could be a long season ahead.

Crazy robin
I bet Garrity earned more money scoring 3 points than what he did if he hit double figures at reserve.
TheSmiler
Having King as a heat leader is a big mistake. In this format, he is not a heat leader. We were lucky with the way we had Kylmo swapping places with him last season.

stevebrum
The expected results. Would Bees have got more from RR? Doubtful.
LisaColette
Glad to see Hansi had a good night Interesting to see how he does on Friday considering it's a <beep> little track. If he gets double figures will he still call it that? The expected results. Would Bees have got more from RR? Doubtful.Erm, yes. KK can ride Poole unlike Wolves
Bagpuss
I see the moaning has begun The irony Its a shame (but unsurprising) to see people writing riders off after one leg of a glorified challenge.
speedibee
Well that all started well enough then the Bees just fell apart . upside if there is one is we wont be the focus of Fords cheating this year , that honour will be reserved for the first team to beat Poole home and away

He'd have turned the fuel off and pulled on to the centre green in all of his races knowing him. Edited March 16, 2016 by CB252
Steve Shovlar
For those that want to watch some of the racing you can see a few heats here. https://www.periscope.tv/w/abh9wDFtTUVQZVdxTm1RR2J8MVlwSmthdmxha2RLaixA5LG5K1I68g2nqEd9lddh-odR6Eu2mriyiXdoKOq0 Thought it eas a decent meeting tonight.msome good racing for the first meeting of the season and Poole really do look a powerhouse. For Coventry Harris was very good. Battled hard for his points. King had a win but was mostly awol. Garrity was a reserve in a top five spot. Outclassed all night to be honest. Woryna battled hard and was knicked off by Hans trying to get past. An entertainer doing wheelies and waving to the crowd. Think he did a lap of honor after every race. The reserves were dreadful. For Poole Holder was solid. Kurtz got better as the night went on. Watty sucked. He said it and it was true. Buckowski looked fast and wild. Hans was very good. Ellis would have scored more but for an ef. Newman scored a max and was man of the meeting. Lookng forward to the return which will be a much closer affair.

Except Ellis didn't have an e/f in heat 2 - he miscounted the laps as he explained when interviewed at the end!! ("4 laps at Lakeside is like 3 at Poole"!!) Also I think Woryna was the star for Bees. I really can't understand the so-called Bees fans writing him off before he'd even ridden a race. The kid will get better given some decent support and encouragement, as I said when he was signed.

Completely agree. Yes it's ok having ambition but this year the reserves can move up in to the main team so Garrity could have done so if he scored well. He's not going to score as well in the main team. On paper our reserves were always going to struggle. That said this has never been one of their best away tracks. Sounds like Kacper showed some positive signs and fought hard for his points.
