Woz01
If we get anything over 32 points I'd call it a morale victory without a number 1 .
TesarRacing
I listened with interest to Hans Andersen discussing this very point with referee Jim Lawrence at Ostergaards Testimonial and pointing out when it's windy tapes will be touching front wheels. What he is actually saying is, if it is windy it will make his bike roll a bit more!!
CB252
If we get anything over 32 points I'd call it a morale victory without a number 1 . Had 70-20 before KK injured so I'll go for 74-16 without him. If Poole lose a single match this season it should considered a failure. You sound like a Coventry version of Shovlar, saying things that we know will never happen so you can be all like 'Poole lost at BV by 2, they should be put in PL as punishment of being rubbish.' Let's keep it half realistic please?

scottyfan
Whats that? Overlock? He will probably spend half his rides trying to knock Kyle Newman off.......as usual!!
Woz01
Poole will lose a few away no doubt, its silly to suggest otherwise. Teams like Coventry, Swindon and Kings Lynn will probably strengthen come May 1st and look a much better prospect than they do at the minute.
CB252
Ah, the usual patronising Poole folk that like to try and pretend that the season isn't a foregone conclusion!

Let's keep it half realistic please? He's right. You have one of the better numbers 1s, a reaosnable number 2. Then you have 2 riders at 3 and 4 who are better than any other teams 3rd heat leader. Kurtz will see off every other number 5 (he's Aussie champion for Christs sake!) and we know that Newman is the best draft reserve as proven by his EL average the last 2 seasons. That leaves Ellis and I trust starman when he says he's in for a good season as Middlo will work wonders with him. Honestly, where are Coventry going to get points? Harris should get a few, King struggles against heat leaders but has to ride against 4 of them tonight, Garrity is only the level of your reserve but he's our 4th man, Woryna isn't even as good as your reserves and then our reserves who are both a similar level to your number 7. Pooles team is pretty awesome, it shouldn't come close to losing at home and frankly I doubt it'll lose many away.

Though scoring 70 points is a bit ridiculous! Maybe 56-58.
SCB
So we should all pay the bookies a visit then. Honestly, yes. I genuinely think you might have the most successful EL team ever in terms of meetings won this season. I genuinely think your team is phenomenal. The last few years you've had good but not necessarily great looking teams that I expected the odd tweak to but this team is something else! I was referring to the Poole should all the meetings part of the post. Though scoring 70 points is a bit ridiculous! Maybe 56-58. 70 is OTT I agree but you should have no issues racking up 60 points most weeks. I'll let Matt Fords wallet decide if thats a good thing or a bad thing

SCB
He is the signing that makes the difference between Poole and everyone else. You say that but Kurtz is a massive signing. And as I said, we all know how good Newman is is too - he's as good as Garrity at worst and he's our 4th rider not 6th! Mind you, it'll be funny becaue of the format to see one of Watt, Hans or Buzz in reserve on a 6.5 average Edited March 16, 2016 by SCB

More likely to see Buzz at number one than reserve but even though it'll because of their strong side I will still have a chuckle if Hans drops down to reserve. Steve Shovlar
Why are CovEntry fans writing off Woryna before a wheel has turned. He is viewed as a fine prospect in Poland and is certainly better than Jamrog. Give the lad a chance before trying to get rid before a wheel has turned. He will take time to settle but is a decent one for the future in my opinion. For those not making the trip I will stream some footage tonight on periscope. You can download the periscope app and i can be found @stephenshovlar Or zoom on the map to poole stadium. Not filming much racing but might do a little. The footage will be available for 24 hours.
