Ipswich Vs Scunthorpe March 17th 7.30pm

I assume that even with the introduction of the 3 pt reserves that the meeting race format is remaining the same this season , does anybody know ?

Yes, the 15 Heat PL format is unchanged from last season.

The more I look at this one I think it could be closer than alot of people are suggesting, I hope I'm wrong and it's the first step towards making Foxhall a fortress.

Only approximately 24hrs now and we will know!

The weather forecast seems to be dry but flicking cold so wrap up warm to anyone coming.

One of the biggest question marks for me tomorrow will be Lewis Kerr. It will be his first competitive meeting since that awful crash so it'll be interesting to see if he's tentative, or whether he's on the pace straight away.

He himself say's the crash hasn't bothered him but I suppose he would say that. The proof of the pudding will be tomorrow!

Remember last time out he was excellent and hit 14 I think it was?

Yup you are correct HKP only beaten by Covatti on his last visit.

well , its finally here for some. hope the rain clouds keep away in ippo and the meeting goes as it should. i think i will have to go for a home win , scunny look ok . but ippo are looking better in their green/yellow suits. but all that glitters, isn't gold. so good luck to every rider tonight, especially Mr auty. . not a fan of him , but he has had a few seasons bad luck and is due some good times .

going to follow this on updates to get into the swing of things .. have a great nights racing to all .. hope that was a sensible enough post for you lot . :t:

I go on the 14 but don't have a clue which junction it is. I just get off at the lowestoft one.

Junction 58 is the Lowestoft one i think Baldy so the closure is the one before that , what us folk in Ipswich call the Ransomes Junction

Well according to the TomTom journey planner, I also use junction 58 so we'll see what happens.

BBC is saying about 4 degrees at about 9pm tonight.

Jeez that's cold outdoors especially up on that rickety scaffold.

But I'll give it a go.

What time do you guys normally get there?

I usually aim to get there in time to grab a few chips and a drink and finish them before my fingers freeze up.

Let me know if you want to meet up and I'll pm you my mobile number.

Just come and sit with us, if you don't like us you can leave. We are of mixed ages so we are pretty easy to get on with like most speedway supporters.

If you like chatting rubbish then it will be fine. Back straight stand last set of steps and you will spot us.
