screm
To be honest I don't know too much about some of the riders as I am more involved with the Elite League but will give my best prediction on the teams in the league. BERWICK - Can see them doing fine at home but don't think they have the strength of other teams and won't be contenders. EDINBURGH - Don't know how much they have left for the final spot but they have experience and potential but I can see better teams and the final rider will be the key. GLASGOW - Very solid top four and very capable of big points. Behind that it is hard to see the rider filling the second string position being capable of scoring much. They will be there abouts thanks to the top four. IPSWICH - King and Covatti can be a great top two and Risager and Kerr offer good support. Like Glasgow it is hard to see which of the other three can hold down a second string role. NEWCASTLE - Amazing top three, possibly the strongest trio in the league. However they have one space left and that needs to be a good signing as I can't see too much backing up the heat leaders. PETERBOROUGH - Team Denmark can be good for team bonding and all riders can hold their own. Nicolai Busk Jacobsen is a rider ready to step up and this could be a very good team that has the right balance. PLYMOUTH - Is Gjedde still a number one ? I can see Holder, Kurtz and Newman improving but don't think this team has enough to challenge. REDCAR - Looking like the team trying to avoid the wooden spoon. RYE HOUSE - Don't think Karger is the heat leader they need to step up and could be struggling to get mid table. SCUNTHORPE - Klindt for the season would be good but unsure on his replacement and they admit Holub will get a lower average so why sign a rider that can't score what his average suggests. They have qualities but once Nicolai goes it looks downhill. SHEFFIELD - Stead and Garrity are an amazing top two and Howarth makes a great top three but behind that is the question if they have enough to back them up. Bates can improve and they are one to watch out for. SOMERSET - Grajczonek and Tungate can deliver and Wright can back them, but I can see BWD being the Star here and challenge for a heat leader role while Starke is a solid rider. However in Allen and Zack they have more potential and this could be the most solid team to start the season and my favourite for top spot. WORKINGTON - Wolverhampton B have been hit with the Proctor news which is a shame as he can be a contender for the number one spot. Who they get as a replacement will be vital and I think they could look to Wolverhampton once more and bring in Tobiasz Musielak who could be a bargain and well suited to the Workington track and good away. Dark Horses for sure. Somerset then my tip with Workington, Peterborough, Glasgow, Sheffield and either Edinburgh or Newcastle to form a top six. Pretty fair assessment, you could probably put a question mark against every team in both plusses and minus, and obviously some teams will be hit by injuries more than others. I like Sheffield and see them as the team to beat, where as I see Rye House and Redcar as weaker teams.

Fair assessment apart from Edinburgh's rider that is needed to sign is the british 3 pointer so will have no affect on points left and I dont think that Wolverhampton rider is eligible as he is Polish isn't he? jenga
i personally dont think glasgow have a great team. good top 4, but if just one of them gets injured it going to go pear shaped with the possibility of a 2nd string and 2 reserves taking the injured riders rides . injuries are part of speedway . and for that reason , i,m out . sheff for me . Baldyman
I think Sheffield will smash everyone at home, but away could be a different matter. Having said that it doesn't look like many of the teams will be piling up the away points.

Having said that it doesn't look like many of the teams will be piling up the away points. They certainly have a very good top 4 but the bottom 3 look a bit doubtful, a lot will depend on what sort of progression J bates makes and I know just how good Berge can ride. If he can produce consistently then Sheffield will have a very good season.

comet49
It would be good to see Simon Stead have an injury free season.

June
Sheffield Somerset Glasgow Peterborough Workington Newcastle Edinburgh Berwick Ipswich Plymouth Rye House Red car Scunthorpe I think Sheffield, Somerset and Glasgow are definitely the stand out teams. You must be a Sheffield supporter. I think Sheffield will be a force to contend with but Stand out team NO quite a few IF's like I see in other teams. I'm a Scunny supporter and for you to put them last, you must be comparing our last years team. We started with David Howe No 1 he didn't last long so we were without him. Same goes for Josh-through injuries out most of the season, 2 new riders...But I see our season different this year, we have a team of racers but again we have IF's . I think its a year for the toughest this year!

June
No I do not support any PL club. I just think Sheffield look very good if they can all hit form. Somerset and Glasgow also look strong. So you do have IF's then. I have them with all teams!. I especially like Scunnys team this year because they are all racers apart from Klindt, we certainly have some exciting racing to come. When Klindt leaves to race in Poland our new Danish rider from last year ( He looked at our track went into his first race and won ) But here comes another IF Can he perform this year? he looks to be another racer! I like certain teams but honestly cannot see an outstanding team. Bring on the new season!

Super Blue
I'm definitely liking the fact that nobody seems to be giving Ipswich a chance this year. In the past, last season especially we were labeled as title favourites and failed miserably so this time around we might just surprise a few if we can at least find some consistency at home. jenga
so on that assumption, ippo will finish lower than last year !
Baldyman
Maybe there is a reason for that superblue. We look okay but I don't think anything special unless sarjent carries on improving as fast as he has done. It could take paco a good few meetings to get round a foxhall bend. Pob
Who's going to win mmmmm not got a clue think this coming season is wide open in my option , So many teams that have an IF or a MAYBE about them on one or in some cases two of there riders. In past seasons there seems to be one or two teams that are way ahead of everyone else and are clear from the word go at the top of the league but think this season could be different its wide open i think. You could make a good point for most teams to have a good shot at it this season and that can only be good for the premier league . It's a very mixed bag this coming season with no one team standing our from the crowd. As for my team Ipswich well yes it would be nice to win some silverware who wouldn't but like i have said they have their IF's so i'll take a play off place come September but that's the hope of every team.
