To The Point
If Alden and Mellgren can ride to their potential Berwick might surprise a few .Jury is out on the Glasgow line up for me !! For me I think Alden, Melgren and T.J. will increase their average, Doolan, Pjiper and Whethers might hold their average, but are likely to drop slightly, As for Liam he is in a protected position at No 7 and is in the top 4 No 7s ( Whethers at no6 is also in a protected position) These 2 riders will not ride against the top 2 riders, so trying to work out a proper average is almost immpossible. baba
Dark horse team this season is Berwick defo top 6 and into playoffs then who knows. My team Glasgow look super top end but lower order could struggle at home and away. Nike , coty and danny will be getting plenty of laps in behind closed doors at home so fingers crossed. I reckon Danny will end season in tigers folklore. Top 6. Edinburgh do look decent im guessing sam will lead the way but don't know what to expect from fisher. He's returning to a happy place and this could resurrect his sliding form and get his head back in the game. Young max and eric will develop further backed up by new boy jaye and Mitchell, who could be a useful signing if his paperwork gets approved. Top six. Peterbourgh top 6. Sheffield and Workington looks like completing the top 6. All the other teams have something about them too and i know redcar will make changes that will save them from bottom. Bottom club for me this season is Scunny.

I think he will, he wants it, thats half the battle, he as also the advantage of already ridden most of the PL tracks
Najjer
Interesting that Somerset have recieved a right mixed bag from everyone so far. Â One things for sure, if the team isn't performing then changes will be made in an attempt to turn that round.

I think Liam could be Berwick`s trump card, he has upgraded his kit and gained new sponsorship to put back into his racing. He is as good a No7 as there is out there, he has raced on all the PL tracks so should be able to compete with his fellow No7`s.

phillwhitewasmad
I predict scunny will finish higher than most of you are predicting and Redcar won't finish any lower than last

Norfolk Bear
Looking at the fixtures I doubt if loyal Bears will see a win until June, by April we will be in a position to bring in 2 10 pointers !!

EC Rides Again
I note that virtually everyone has written off Scunthorpe. They'll change the team as soon as Holub gets an average, so I guess everyone thinks they can judge on incomplete evidence. Â It's fun to rank the teams on their off-season, but real trophies are won on the track. Bagpuss
Absolutely, any team could change at any time so to predict who will finish where based on changes they may or may not make is silly. It can only be done on team strengths as they are, and on that basis Scunthorpe look like a bottom four side.
Panthers89
Panthers, Tigers x2, Monarchs to be in top 6, then Rebels, Diamonds, Bandits, Ipswich and Plymouth in the next bunch then Redcar, Scunny, Workington and Rye next lot.

Rye House, Redcar and Scunthorpe all have riders yet to get true averages, once that happens you`d think they are the teams most likely to make changes. To The Point
I predict scunny will finish higher than most of you are predicting and Redcar won't finish any lower than last I think both Berwick and Scunthorpe (Very similar type teams) will do better than a lot predict, both mid table
T.N.T.
To be honest I don't know too much about some of the riders as I am more involved with the Elite League but will give my best prediction on the teams in the league. Â Â BERWICK - Can see them doing fine at home but don't think they have the strength of other teams and won't be contenders. Â EDINBURGH - Don't know how much they have left for the final spot but they have experience and potential but I can see better teams and the final rider will be the key. Â GLASGOW - Very solid top four and very capable of big points. Behind that it is hard to see the rider filling the second string position being capable of scoring much. They will be there abouts thanks to the top four. Â IPSWICH - King and Covatti can be a great top two and Risager and Kerr offer good support. Like Glasgow it is hard to see which of the other three can hold down a second string role. Â NEWCASTLE - Amazing top three, possibly the strongest trio in the league. However they have one space left and that needs to be a good signing as I can't see too much backing up the heat leaders. Â PETERBOROUGH - Team Denmark can be good for team bonding and all riders can hold their own. Nicolai Busk Jacobsen is a rider ready to step up and this could be a very good team that has the right balance. Â PLYMOUTH - Is Gjedde still a number one ? I can see Holder, Kurtz and Newman improving but don't think this team has enough to challenge. Â REDCAR - Looking like the team trying to avoid the wooden spoon. Â RYE HOUSE - Don't think Karger is the heat leader they need to step up and could be struggling to get mid table. Â SCUNTHORPE - Klindt for the season would be good but unsure on his replacement and they admit Holub will get a lower average so why sign a rider that can't score what his average suggests. They have qualities but once Nicolai goes it looks downhill. Â SHEFFIELD - Stead and Garrity are an amazing top two and Howarth makes a great top three but behind that is the question if they have enough to back them up. Bates can improve and they are one to watch out for. Â SOMERSET - Grajczonek and Tungate can deliver and Wright can back them, but I can see BWD being the Star here and challenge for a heat leader role while Starke is a solid rider. However in Allen and Zack they have more potential and this could be the most solid team to start the season and my favourite for top spot. Â WORKINGTON - Wolverhampton B have been hit with the Proctor news which is a shame as he can be a contender for the number one spot. Who they get as a replacement will be vital and I think they could look to Wolverhampton once more and bring in Tobiasz Musielak who could be a bargain and well suited to the Workington track and good away. Dark Horses for sure. Â Â Somerset then my tip with Workington, Peterborough, Glasgow, Sheffield and either Edinburgh or Newcastle to form a top six.
