A ORLOV
Have motocross type starting gates, where the bar folds downward toward the rider. If the rider rolls and touches the gate as it comes down he will disadvantaged. This would be a good idea but it has problems. The start mechanism would get clogged up with shale and damaged each time the track was graded and bladed. In motocross the starts tend to be off line and not ridden over each lap. The only way this might work is if the start was on concrete on the bend and off the racing circuit.
gee jay
As long as the planes keep to an altitude of more than a few feet above track level the sport should be okay. If the plane's low enough to be affected by a horizontal laser beamed a couple of feet off the ground then I think there would be other more pressing problems to worry about especially any tracks near american airforce bases , bye bye mildenhall
