SCB
Whoopy doo, and after 12 months you'll go back to the original rate.. I'll worry about that then. But I'm sure if I come on the speedway forum and moan like a little bitch about it then it'll change everything - or alternative I could pick up my phone or have a look online for offers and get a good deal. My God you are a negative Nancy. Is your glass ever half full? Don't you just hate it... Edited March 6, 2016 by Starman2006
SCB
Ah right though, aren't I... Not as good a deal you make out. Of course it's a good deal. Who the hell knows what BT will be offering in 11.5 months time? Or that BT and Sky won't have come to an arrangement and BT will be included in the Sky package. Or BT would will have gone bust. Or I'll have had enough of the sport so don't give a damn. It's a good deal as for now I'm paying less for broadband, phone and BT sport than any other company will offer broadband and phone. I've been thinking, Pooles team is rubbish. I mean in 50 years time Brady Kurtz will be 70-odd, Chris Holder 80-odd. Why has Matt Ford signed them now in 2016 because at some point in the future they'll be rubbish. Fool. What a bad deal.
Noodles
I'm doing Plusnet broadband £9.24 a month. Sky Family £27 a month. I will add BT sport for £9.99 a month April - October only. So £46.23 a month in speedway months. I was paying £17.40 for Sky broadband so I'm using the money I saved switching to plusnet broadband to pay for my BT sport. Falcon Hammer
If you're thinking about upgrading your TV, get an android & download Kodi from Google Play store - No need for a separate box Would also recommend Virgin Vivid 200 broadband - Did a speed check & got a download speed 206.5 Mb Edited March 7, 2016 by Falcon Hammer

BWitcher
But why pay anything when you don't need to Indeed. In the cafe/bakery over the road where I buy bread etc, often the lady is out the back. I could just take the bread. Why pay? The Doctor...
Well I am watching the Liverpoo v Augsburg match here on Kodi through channel FS1, an American channel with American commentators and its in crystal clear HD with no buffering. No reason to not watch the speedway in HD next month. Plenty of places to find HD sports streams on Kodi. Well i'm giving this Kodi lark a go now. Only using the desktop version at the mo, while i get my head round it fully. First impressions are that its a bit fiddly to get your head the very intital set up and all this repositories shenanigans, but after watching a few of those youtubes you mentioned, i'm happily flitting around watching hd coverage of pretty much everything i can think of. Cheers Tom
Grand Central
With the latest news that Suzi Perry is back. It looks as if the coverage will be a quality production. http://sport.bt.com/more-sport-hub/more-sport/bt-sport-signs-tv-presenter-suzi-perry-S11364044894448 So, even if you are not a scrounger on kodi, and are paying the full ticket price. At least there should be VFM! Edited March 9, 2016 by Grand Central

At least there should be VFM! Agreed, a good signing. I wont be going on board with Bt as their broadband is guff where i am and for just the channels, it would bump our monthly subs up to a whopping £120 which is bananas really. On top of a £1500 arsenal season ticket, and the challenges of rolling shifts which mean i would miss loads of the bt speedway anyway, i wont be "scrounging" by using kodi

BWitcher
Hardly scrounging trying to get the best deal pal hang on I'll just pick up ur halo I think it's a bit loose There is no 'scrounging' involved. It's stealing, it's as simple as that. Kodi themselves acknowledge it as such and do not support or advocate any of the 3rd party add-ons as it is causing them a lot of grief. As I said earlier in the thread it shows that folk have no issues with stealing if they think they're not going to get caught. As for me? I have Kodi and have used it on occasion, but I don't kid myself about it. The Doctor is paying a fair whack already so have sympathy there. Grand Central
Personally I only used the term scrounging, to be polite. Although the dictionary definition of "seeking to obtain something at the expense of others or by stealth" does seem to fit the bill quite well. I have no problem with whatever word is used. I don't really care. I use kodi myself all the time and love it !

SCB
Hardly scrounging trying to get the best deal pal hang on I'll just pick up ur halo I think it's a bit loose It's scrounging and it;'s the actions of a pikey. And even if I was doing it there no way I'd proudly proclaim it in public FFS! If people can't see how it's at least morally wrong and get a service for free that other are paying for and the supplier is trying to make a business from then I pity you all - and hope that your boss refuses to pay you next month - use your services for nothing in the same way. andys
Maybe we can meet up sometime so you can call me "pikey" to my face scb I think you might think differently however I use kodi as I'm sick of being ripped off for watching sports if you want to pay good luck to you it's your choice, the last time I checked it's everyone's own choice to do what they wish I choose not to pay over the odds if more ppl stop paying then sky and BT might wise up and fetch the price down although while they have ppl like you happily filling their coffers then they won't I'm sure you'll have some petty come back now so give it your best pal and like I said I'll happily discuss this in person one day. No, you choose to steal. I can't afford many things in life, that's tough. I don't go around stealing them claiming 'it's my choice' and I don't see why I should pay. There's nothing to 'discuss in person'. It's not even a debate.
