For somebody such as myself BT Sport is actually a very hard commodity to come by - it is this that irks me the most and for that I can sympathise with some of the folks who 'steal' the feed.

I personally have Sky broadband, but don't have Sky TV as it's overpriced, plus I barely watch TV anyway. I am not allowed to simply purchase a day pass to watch BT sport as I'd need a Sky tv or BT broadband package for that.

They really need to think of a way around this as I had to watch the youtube stream in the end, which I guarantee won't be available in the UK for the next GP.

I'll simply have to resort to begging to watch it around a friends house or simply watch it illegally, and that's not acceptable whichever way you look at it!

Just to make you aware the offer posted earlier this week for half price BT sport for 3months has now finished.

Both my Brother and parents tried to sign up but coming up with the usual £19:99 cost although I expect a new offer soon especially with the football and Rugby season finishing in the new couple of weeks.

i looked into bt sports earler this year when motors tv was off air for a short time on sky

now ill put my case across the only sports im interested in watching are motorsports which are at the bottom end of priority for broadcastors

why cant there be a dedicated motorsports channel for around £5 a month football demands a very high premium why do i have to subsribe to something ill never watch

£20 a month for for sports channel is far too much and if people were not as obssesd by football then we wouldnt have to pay such fees to watch other sports

My last bill for sky was £119.00 we had movies sport multi room and unlimited broadband it had just sneaked up £4.00 the other month then got another letter informing us that it was going up again £6.00 that was the straw that broke the camels back Rang them up told them I wanted to cancel they told me I could not cancel I am not the account holder it s in my wife's name I rang bt told them what I wanted have got fibre broadband their TV box weekend calls free bt sports that I can watch in my caravan when away for £47.99 free hd for 3 months My wife rang sky told them to cancel it . They asked why told them no speedway gps and that we d had it for 15 years and felt we getting ripped of all it do es is keep going up year upon year and that they should try rewarding loyalty

Watched gp last night in my caravan no complaints up to now

It definitely hasn't ended. If you ask nicely it could be for a full 12 months too not just 3

Yes I've heard they'll offer 12 months HD for £9.99.

Personally I don't want it for 12 months & don't want a 12 month contract so will just be doing 2 x 3 months which will take me to just after Aussie GP.

Paid for BT sport recently....may stop sky sports next year its all getting a bit much and GPs usually much better than EL.

Just find someone with skysports and willing to let you have their login detail & watch it online.

Without going through 11 pages of posts, thought I would let you all know, we got bt sport (not hd) for £6 a month for 12 months as we have bt Internet and bt phone line. I think hd would have cost £9 a month. So if, like us you have bt Internet and phone, it may be worth finding out if you can get the same deal.

That was last Saturday 30th of April.

Noodles/Danny Smith That link only allows you to have BT sport at the full £19:99 cost and £5 activation cost I tried myself today as has my brother.

The only thing I can think of is this offer just for BT telephone customers as we are both on Sky for phone and Broadband as does say it is a return to us offer

If anyone in the market for a broadband change, Plusnet are doing until May 10th a 18 month free standard broad band deal for FREE (then £9.99pm), plus £15.49 line rental if paid 12 month in advance.

On fibre broadband it is 6 months free (then £14.99pm), line rental £15.49pm if paid 12 month in advance.

PlusNet is a subsidiary of BT. At the moment you can get BT Sports (4 channels) for £9.99pm (monthly contract) if you have any Sky TV package even the basic packages.

Its what I did, same package, 6 months ago, joined the BT Sports package last week so got to see the Slovenian GP

Woth a look
