jenga
No biggie - Peterborough just take Plymouth's spot Saturday & have to qualify for Sunday as opposed to being seeded. it seems like the logical decision , but this is speedway . hope the powers that be come to the correct decision . proud panther
Would rather see Panthers race Saturday, & qualify on merit. If we fail, we still have 2 riders riding Sunday, & will make the racing more interesting than watching everybody apart from Panthers race on Saturday.
jenga
now thats what i call a proper post from a genuine panthers fan . wants to be in on merit , so good luck to them. whatever the outcome . LagutaRacingFan
Panthers take Plymouths place on Saturday however If they fail to qualify, they still qualify for the final on Sunday to ensure a good crowd for the final. pvm
It's Speedway, so Peterborough replace Plymouth on Saturday. The top team in each group qualify for the final on Sunday + one wildcard team. If Peterborough top their group the wild card entry goes to the highest scoring second team, If Peterborough don't top their group they become the wildcard entry. screm
If Plymouth don`t make it then it seems sensible for Peterborough to take their place and qualify for Finals on track and just as host venue, but lets not give up on Plymouth just yet.
2ndbendbeerhut
Sensible and speedway don't mix. . Peterborough will still be seeded so a NL or EL team will be invited in! Could have a combination of teams with EL and NL teams. Eg Coventry or Belle Vue.

Hopefully Plymouth will still be there, failing that Peterborough should take their place and go through the qualifying system as every other team is doing.

A ORLOV
I see kks is spouting its usual idiotic cr#p, if Peterborough do not qualify, tough. Sounds like it could be a very good weekend of Speedway and other events. Complete weekends of Speedway should happen more often.

If Peterborough win their group, they qualify on merit, If Peterborough finish as highest scoring second place team, again the BSPA can say they chose Peterborough(as the wildcard) on merit as the second highest scorers. But if Peterborough don't win their Group or finish as highest scoring second placed team, they still have the option to put Peterborough in the final as the Wildcard, all done in the "Best Interests of the sport"  If they announce that the Top 3 + Plus highest scoring Second place team qualify for the final, there's the risk of the home team not being in the final, and the perceived loss of income from not having the home team in the final.  I personally don't think the crowd for Sunday's events, would be significantly affected if Peterborough didn't make the finals, but it's a risk I don't think the BSPA would be willing to take.
Baldyman
Surely most people will buy the weekend tickets so I don't see the crowd being any lower even if panthers bomb out

There should not be any argument about it , 3 group winners +best runner up to final otherwise the whole competition would be a waste of time and a joke , lets give all the teams a fair chance and an equal chance .
