Short of only having nominated riders you'll never stop some riders who we tink are not good enough from qualifying. But suggest no qualifiers and only wildcards (despite wildcards generally doing better than qualifiers) and a lot of people will go mad at you! coventry1963
Unless I'm mistaken, didn't Bomber say that he rode three bikes during the evening, the third of which he had never ridden before! If so, whatever was in the third suggests his comments on lacking speed at GP level in his motors up to now has a basis in fact as the third bike was certainly quick enough. It would be interesting to know what motor was in that third bike, and who set it up!

Others have said and I agree he needs to stop chopping and changing bikes and engines etc so often, no wonder his scores are all over the place. It must drive him mad. I just wish he could sort things out and become more consistent.

Loads of guys like that though - it's part of the job and perhaps one of the most important, because the set-up of a bike makes a huge difference. Which rider wouldn't have traded their machine for one of Maugers or Nielsens when they were riding at their best. Being one of the best is about the whole package.

Trees
That is why the Poultec Speedway course is good, the boys learn engineering as well.
screm
That track is so much better after a lot of rain, I was there in early 2000's when there was lot of rain before the start and start was delayed by an hour, was great racing afterwards. Usually it is far too dry and slick. I think its fair to say the track did get plenty of rain during Saturday afternoon, as it was quite a thunderstorm.
