Prague 2016

A final thought on tonight's heroic performance by Mr. Harris.

Given his reputation (normally away from GPs) of never giving up and also his success at Cardiff in 2007 can we sum his approach to racing as......."never say Dai?"

I shall get my coat.

(I feel your pain).

Got home from Prague at 8am this morning and can't believe how lucky we were with the weather. After such rain I thought it was over and out, but this was not the case at all. Meeting was ran very quickly. Phil Morris tried everything to get the riders as fast as possible to the tapes, very good effort. Racing was great, never seen such good racing at the Marketa before.

Also very nice to see so many British fans in Prague, and they could not believe there eyes when Harris made it to the final, and secured his third place. Great to see. I can't wait till Cardiff in two weeks time :)

Really enjoyed the meeting in Prague last night once the track was raced on a few times.

I have said IMO Chris Harris has had 2 seasons too long in the GP's, but last night he was in the best races of the meeting and deserved his third place.

Well done to Jason, but Hancock at his age is just amazing.

Rain certainly helped improve the racing and it was probably the best go frim Prague in memory. Crowd also looked bigger than recent years. Holder was dreadful, Woffinden struggled badly and Hancock took full advantage.

Well done to Doyle and Harris, who had his best GP in ages.

Now on to Cardiff and the best atmosphere of all the GPs

Thoroughly enjoyed last night's SGP, sat next to some guys from Wolverhampton, delighted to see so many Brits there, the down side is that I am stuck in Prague till tomorrow as Easyjet cancelled my flight late last night.

Think the other riders should be trying the Hancock tyre set-up judging by the way it get him out of the gate!

I'm curios as to why more don't. Especially someone like Harris who has nothing to lose. I seem to remember it being said they get you out the start but are not as good over the 4 laps but if you're not getting out the starts and not passing people you may as well give them a go!

As for the GP it's self, I watched it last night when I got in from Cardiff celebrating a Wales win in the Euros. So to see Bomber riding reasonably well was a joy. His ride in the semi was as good a rider as you'll see from anyone. Chuffed with 3rd. Also pleased that Doyley got a win, I have a soft spot for him and have always rated him. I remember arguing on here years ago he was capable of top 5 in the World and being laughed at, I wish I could find it and see what those who told me I was wrong think now! He's been a genuine threat in the GPs for 12 months now.

Finally, not had a bad GP in 2016, not had a bad Sky meeting in 2016. What the hell is going on? It's giving very little to moan about :D

That track is so much better after a lot of rain, I was there in early 2000's when there was lot of rain before the start and start was delayed by an hour, was great racing afterwards. Usually it is far too dry and slick.

Well you could always complain about them getting rid of oap concessions at Brandon or leaving the eu causing house prices to drop...
