PHILIPRISING
Does Ole Olsen have any input into any of the GP tracks nowadays? Officially or unofficially ONLY the temporary ones and they have been pretty good too
Terry
If even the Marketa can be made to give good racing it underlines the progress that SGP has made this year in providing greatly improved racing. Despite weather and the problems domestically the racing so far this year is suggesting we're enjoying a vintage season. The two young Poles are adding plenty to the series, with Lindgren infinitely more exciting to watch than Hampel. Emil who?
crumpiefan
His company build all the temporary tracks- has no input in the permanent ones

Emil who? Sayfutdinov would be the icing on the cake. A truly beautiful racer. Both he and the SGP are diminished by his absence. This is much more than due to the riders. The tracks are definitely hugely improved with riders going for the outside burst being rewarded rather than just falling further behind. crumpiefan
Thought so. No coincidence (to me at least) that the racing seems to be better recently. Going back 6-7 years i remember seeing the gp tracks and they were like roads

PHILIPRISING
BT are showing the after-race press conference again. Don't remember Sky or Eurosport bothering, or is it a new feature on the international feed? IT'S new this year. They are doing them in the pits because that is where they already have cameras, etc. Personally have reservations and not because I am not doing them any more From a written journalist's point of view, would prefer to see them in the media room. Not much fun trying to get one-on-one interviews amongst the chaos that is the pits post-meeting. But if BT are willing to stay on air to show them then I can understand why they doing it this way now.

I think it works for the viewer. With the quality of racing and Natalie Quirk's expertise taking Scott Nicholls' work to new heights BT must bne delighted at taking the sport on. I am really enjoying this year. All we need now is a certain Russian....

Still dead chuffed for him though.

Of course it would be even better with Emil competing. I mean when he dropped out and Darcy got injured, most people maybe thought the series would get boring, with Tai dominating. But as we saw tonight he's not having it all his own way.
geoff 100
just in from a wet derwent park 1st race we watched rider had no cut out on his wrist second race and lingbacks hair half way down his back when rules clearly state nothing has to be out side the helmet how long till ref,s start clamping down on this .. StevePass
Well I had £5.00 each way on Chris with Bet365 so a tidy £192 back, thank you Mr Harris.

I certainly didn't expect Tai to dominate but I was so looking forward to a battle for the title between him and Emil. As for speaking for 'most people', I'm afraid I don't know enough people so I'll just have to rely on what I see and believe (Isn't betting so unfascinating - unless you're the winner?) mdmc82
Brilliant to see Bomber on the podium tonight and in some of the best races of the night. He takes a lot of stick but nobody is more disappointed than him when his hard work doesn't pay off. It was great to see him showing the ability us bees fans know he has 🇬🇧
