Alex2000
Well that is very bad. His luck never seems to change with Eastbourne kicking him out last time (albeit the right move) and now this. Hope he gets a third time lucky next year. Get well Brendan.

Sings4Speedway
Nobody likes to hear news like that so close to the season. Not sure what happened but a big blow for Brendan and IOW. Fingers crossed the op is a success.

Islander15
Awful luck for Brendan and my best wishes on a speedy recovery! I was sure he was going to be a great captain because he loves the club, so its unfortunate that I won't see him race this season Also he's said today that his op has been rescheduled for next week in Poole. It's a broken humerus. Nothing humorous about it! Big blow to IOW and a bigger blow to Brendan. Alex2000
Does this unfortunate injury open the door for Kelsey Dugard? it would mean a re shuffle of riding order as you don't want him racing the likes of hopwood Morley ect but I hope it does he deserves it

Its great to see Kelsey given a chance this year after an unfortunate winter for him. You have to feel sorry for Perks in all of this, having left two clubs already this season! Best wishes to him and I think he'll add points to his average wherever he ends up this year. I'm sure we'll see Brendan around this year!
