SpeedwayPortal
Hi Mad Moose, there will be discount tickets for fans on the Wightlink ferries and we have just begun to speak with a bus company also. So it is in hand and once the details are confirmed they will be announced. As for crowds, well, the more the better. But we will be working really hard to gain as many fans through the gates as we can. Andy

Andy Can remember some great trips to the Island between 2006 and 2012, always a good place to watch the sport I have seen some incredibly poor crowds early season, but when they used to ride the bulk of their meetings during the holiday season (sometimes twice a week) they had some very decent turnouts Hopefully your return will be a massive success ... good luck Edited December 12, 2015 by PhilK

teaboy279
Hopefully the promoters can offer something similar to before. Sea cat both ways, taxi from pier to track and back again plus entry for 22 quid. Represents great value.
Northern monkey
Is that Ellis the young lad that ended his season this year by punching a wall? Childish boy, hopefully he grows up soon. Best of luck with that IOW
greyhoundp
I love how people criticise riders off track antics, Ellis is a rider who doesn't like to get beat, and when he is he shows his frustration often with himself, Ellis is a rider who will improve will love the Smallmead Track. This is the kind of signing the IOW needed and if he can get some help and advice from fellow Aussies based on the South Coast, then he should push up to a 9+ average, he was held back last season by riding with an injury, and during one spell he did well to finish his races never mind score a point, taking that into account he is on a bargain average.

Triple.H.
Ellis Perks is British as far as i know Tom Brown. WOW!! now he was a proper turnstile clicker of a rider back in the Conference League days. Edited December 13, 2015 by Triple.H.

Sings4Speedway
Perks & Baseby start to make the Warriors look a reasonable team. With the signing so far there is potential to do well or all crumble on the same night. That said im surprised and disappointed to not get Mark at Kent. I did think IOW would have had a younger flavour given the links to the Long Eaton MDL and then signing two reserves who have done two MDL matches between them.
