Sings4Speedway
No.....there is likely to be a REVOLUTION in same two teams this year! If that's true then that would be a major coup for Cov and a painful blow to Kings Lynn. Cant see Sarj being overly impressed either.
Jacques
I'd be delighted to see Nicki back in the EL.... Don't get Kerr coming to Bees though...
Arch Stanton
It will be Kings Lynn to change race night and I believe it will be done to accommodate a rider that rides in the Danish league on Wednesdays. Lewis Kerr will choose another PL team Wrong.

SCB
but auty is with leicester ?I think the implication is that Leicester may not be in the EL.
Gemini
I doubt if David would drop out of the E.L. and lose thousands of pounds bond money. I also get the impression he's a bit stubborn (heaven knows where I got that idea from) so he wouldn't want to admit he was wrong moving up from the Premier League. SteveLyric2
Isn't Neil Machin a staunch hater of the Elite League, so he's probably been lobbying his PL mates for Leicester to be allowed back - and then he'll look at sponsorship stuff!?

Theres being stubborn and there's losing thousands of pounds by having a poor team that nobody will pay to watch. You also lose them fans from future seasons too. At least by pulling out you don't damage the clubs reputation with the fans, in fact by not having any speedway for a year they may be excited when it returns next season. I'd suggest it's better for the promoters to give Leicester back the bond now before the season starts than force Leicester to race an lose a fortune. Sounds like Ole Olsen's crackpot idea for EL tracks to shut for 3 years. If Leicester closed for a season there would be nothing left to go back to as it would all have been vandalised. They'd probably nick the shale as well.
stevebrum
And in others news Leicester start making signings.

I assume Bates would be the rider to be replaced as he must be the tier 1 rider as has the higher average of the two
stevebrum
Why wouldn't Sarj be impressed? mdmc82
Wrong. Higher average is irrelevant. Sarj tier 1, bates tier 2. Where have you seen it confirmed that Sarjeant is on the tier 1 list or are you assuming that?

mdmc82
He was picked first. Team picked from tier one first. He was protected by the bees in the draft which meant Coventry had him picked even if tier 1 or 2. Both riders were announced at the same time. No idea how it was decided. Wasn't too bothered as I don't think it makes much difference.
