Ticket Prices 2016

If you need to see or polish the Bling George. Why not toddle along to the Thomas Morton Hall in Leith on Fri Dec 11 at 7_30.

Rumour has it that a few Cups will be on show.....you know those shiny things?

Thanks for the invite FB.

What to do?

Cancel that pre-arranged appointment to have my finger and toes nails removed without anaesthetic.

Or...

Spend a night amongst a bunch of glory hunters, gin drinkers and the blue rinse brigade, whilst the begging bowl gets passed around.

In Leith ... twinned with Possil.

Nah ... nail removal for me!

Make sure the trophies are polished FB, so we can put them straight back into their rightful home ... the Ashfield trophy room.

Well, you have been looking after the PL trophy for us since 2012.

;)

Is there an Ashfield trophy room?

Sounds like a contradiction in terms.

A good attempt at humour from someone from the east. but as many comedians have said there needs to be an element of truth in a story to make it funny and well you've failed miserably - 12 trophies during our spell at ashfield and the facenna boys can easily make room for more - we own our stadium don't you know and can extend or modify it as required.

12 trophies is that it, I won't embarrass by saying how many we've won since then.

Edinburgh supporter.

Well you did feed me the line, what did you expect?

Oh come on George, you can do better than that. What about all the Glasgow fans that appeared out of the woodwork last season?

It was called promoting the sport and they had much more pleasant surroundings to enjoy it there was a lot attending that had never been before hardly glory hunters.

Do people really go to speedway to marvel at the pleasant surroundings these days?

It definitely helps i know some went prior to the work took one look and were never to return but the crowds were up significantly with a culmination off thing's that happened i would imagine.

My original post was clearly banter with FB.

Are you trying to go elsewhere with it?

Nah, you're alright. You carry on

That's good to hear. If only that could be replicated throughout the leagues

A great question. The surroundings have to be pleasant to attract young adults and families.

As proved by Edinburgh who have had a hugely admirable, terrific run of form - and the most exciting talent in the league - but the promotion have been bemused by the poor attendences.

Thought this thread was about ticket prices.

I looked at Berwicks season ticket, I didn't think the small saving warented paying up front on the grounds that, if you miss 2 of the 15 meetings you would be out of pocket. I feel if you are going to invest in a club by buying a season ticket then 25% to 30% discount is reasonable.

So here's what we are doing.

Pretty good I would say. :t:

Your main offer is not as good as Berwicks £199 based on 12 PL meetings 2 knock out cup and the 1st friendly of the season (15 meetings). your early bird is a better offer. For me however neither good for putting my money up front, as said miss 2 meetings and you might break even, better for me to pay weekly.
