oldtimer
I was going to make this specific to Glasgow, having just seen it on the website. But might be better to all comers. Season ticket adult works out @ £15 a match. However the rest of the prices are as follows: Individual match ticket £17.50 Seat in stand, additional £1.00 (all matches ??) Programme £2.50 (unchanged) Concessions £13.50 Is season ticket just League Matches?
damosuzuki
Is season ticket just League Matches? League matches, first round KO cup and league cup matches (2) so a total of 15. So works out at £15 a time. All playoffs, later stages of cups are extra.

Shadders
Hear Edinburgh are trying a new scheme next year. Paying fans £15 to attend. That'd be funny if Glasgow had a trophy cabinet full of silverware and Edinburgh were the near neighbours living in their shadow Edited November 28, 2015 by Shads
Gazc
That'd be funny if Glasgow had a trophy cabinet full of silverware and Edinburgh were the near neighbours living in their shadow As you know we have been the poor relations for the past few year's 2011 apart but now there is a real feeling similar to the Shawfield era that the tide is hopefully beginning to shift well that's the plan. damosuzuki
If you can't turn the tide now they're throwing money at it you never will Very, Very true that. Although I don't think they are 'throwing money at it'. Making good investments, giving us a top class stadium, running like a business, yes. Making good investments, giving us a top class stadium, running like a business, yes. Compared to the rest of the Premier League I'd say they was throwing money at it. Can you tell me what these investments are? I've not really been into my speedway as usual recently with the new baby at home taking up loads of time.
DW
Investments made were a new cafe/bar on the first bend which is open throughout the week. There is also a covered standing area/disabled section there. The stand has a new roof and centre section has new seats. New toilets/tea bar under the enclosure on the third bend. Three hospitality areas with planning permission saught to build a permanent one on the third bend. Back straight now on 3 levels with the pits at the top. The stadium also gets used for events in the bar and the centre green outwith speedway and football. Plan also to build a training track behind the stadium. I've probably forgotten a few things there!

Everything goes in cycles, the good years at Shawfield didnt last forever and neither will these i suspect. We will however enjoy them when they are here and get it right up them. Gazc
I'm looking forward to seeing this transformation Think you will be impressed I know your other half has been up as i was talking to her and her mum with the baby in tow as she had asked about access to the back straight for the Buggy but i am sure she would have seen a massive transformation as i know she is a regular attendee over the year's when the Bandit's come to town. Maybe get up next season and see for yourself Shads.
george.m
That'd be funny if Glasgow had a trophy cabinet full of silverware and Edinburgh were the near neighbours living in their shadow Trophies ain't everything, unless you're a glory hunter. I've supported Glasgow long enough not to be one. Give me a long term future over a decrepit midden any day. Give me a stadium where you can see 4 riders rather than the top of 4 helmets. Give me a team of triers rather than a helmut any day.
topsoil
It's the usual story, anybody who pours a lot of money into a project, improving facilities, will want to see a return on their investment. Look at football, whenever all-seater stadiums came in, prices rocketed. It's exactly the same with cinema complexes. We will soon see the results, if people feel like they are getting value for money, they will return, if not, they wont. Not been to Ashfield since all the improvements have taken place. Hopefully in 2016 I will.
Fenway Bleachers
If you need to see or polish the Bling George. Why not toddle along to the Thomas Morton Hall in Leith on Fri Dec 11 at 7_30. Rumour has it that a few Cups will be on show.....you know those shiny things?

They also put in a tarmac path behind the red and white fence to give safe buggy access from the entrance area to the back straight although I've rarely ever seen anyone use it apart from myself - think they could publicise it more as most people walk in on the same route as the riders cars/vans. Other improvement that were missed above - a fleet of new vehicles - water tanker, rescue/parade truck and tractor not to mention the best mascot in the league!
