It certainly is great. I've been very impressed with our young riders and the improving set-up for them. Well done to Bomber and let's hope his fine example inspires other riders to do similar good deeds.

Unfortuntately some people think that Chris is just somebody to take the p*ss out of, but he qualifies every year for the GP on merit, and now he is giving marvellous opportunities to some very talented young riders. I know many riders help youngsters, and with Poultec apprenticeships which is great, but Chris with this initiative is giving a personal stamp on how he wants to do it. More power to your elbow Chris, be interesting to see their progress. Edited November 21, 2015 by Tsunami
Vince
Brilliant thing for Chris Harris to do, hopefully more British riders will do similar things as I believe help from the experienced riders is the main reason for the Aussies having so many youngsters making the grade. Star Lady
I'm well impressed by this. Someone actually getting up off their arse and doing something constructive to help British youngsters, not just paying it lip service. This will do those riders far more good than ranting at the BSPA. Well done Chris Harris.
The White Knight
A great initiative from Chris. iris123
Tbh he seems one of the candidates that has needed someone to take him to one side and set him straight on a number of things.Saying that,i take my hat off to him for giving something back t the sport and helping these guys out.Fingers crossed it turns out better than the Finnish "godfather" scheme

mdmc82
Excellent idea. Great to see somebody actively doing something to help the British riders. Others could learn from him and hopefully consider doing the same. He always has been 100% dedicated to British speedway Edited November 20, 2015 by mdmc82
HagueyUK
Totally agree with the above posts. This is nothing but fantastic news not just for British youth, or British Speedway, but for the Speedway Sport on the whole.

Very harsh that, in my opinion PW. The Team Manager is only as good as the material he has to work with.
weatherwatcher
I am sure that what Chris is doing can make these youngsters come on in leaps and bounds. I have watched the Tompson twins over the last 4 years and the way these 2 young lads have come is tremendous. They are always up there in the siverware with healthy competition between the 2 of them. I am sure, with the knownolage that they will get from Chris will be far better that what they get from the trainging they have been getting. Well done Chris, can't wait to see how well the 3 younsters come along when he takes them under his wing.
